Subject: Quotation for Geotechnical Investigation for Almak Nimer Bridge Approach Khartoum.

Thank you for your invitation to carry out soil study at the above mentioned site. ESD will mobilize one soil
mechanic drilling rig and personnel to site. ESD will drill Two (2) boreholes down to 40.0m depth as per
requsted.

Disturbed soil samples (DS) will be taken each one meter from auger cuttings. Undisturbed soil samples
(UDS) will be taken each 1.5 meter from cohesive soil whenever soil conditions allowed. Standard penetration
test (SPT) will be conducted in cohesinless soil strata at 1.5 meter intervals and whenever it is difficulties to
get UDS samples. ESD will run laboratory tests on the soil samples, these tests will include classification tests,
strength tests, and chemical tests.
The geotechnical report will be produced, and will include analysis of the field and laboratory data and
foundations recommendations.
The cost of this job is Lump Sum SDG 161,548 only
(Only One Hundred, Sixty One Thousand & Five Hundred and Forty eight Sudanese Geneh Without VAT ).

Payments should be made as follows

Notes:

The client will be responsible of the accessibilty to site and preparation of the location of boreholes to allow standing of drilling rigs
The standby rate will be applied if any delays are caused by the client
The estimated time for finishing this job is about 2 to 3 weeks
