Account Manager

JOB PURPOSE

The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the overall management of his/her
account(s) or line of business. The Account Manager represents the Agency's management on a
day-to-day basis at the Client level. The Account Manager plays a key role in developing
subordinates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·0 Leads and supports efforts to engage with clients to identify key strategic goals and
formulate innovative, actionable media plans that meet or exceed goals and drive client
business

·1 Builds strong relationships with clients and manage day to day relationships

·2 Fosters a strong strategic relationship with key team members at all levels of the client
organization

·3 Provides support in day-to-day communications with the client, handling requests


including plan revisions, budget changes, media POVs, marketplace updates

·4 Owns all internal aspects of day-to-day account management

·5 Develops client knowledge to begin architecting strategic plans and tests for the account

·6 Partners with all cross-functional teams to assess performance, recommend


optimizations and develop media plans to best maximize ROI

·7 Stays abreast of industry trends, business opportunities and best practices

·8 Provides insight and ideas for agency development to Senior Management

·9 Supports third party client relationships as may be required (e.g. – creative relationships,
etc.)

·10 Follows all company health and safety procedures

·11 Performs other related duties as required or assigned


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION

·12 Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

·13 5-7 years related experience required

·14 Traditional Media background is required. Planning and Radio experience preferred
