Project Details :Abstract: This is a web based application for a Client. This system
is Study, Design & Development/ Customization of readily developed software, testing,
implementation, training & support of web based Software for Computerized Auction System &
Office Automation(CAS&OA) for Computerization of 100 APMCs, in the State, with IPR of
Software for 300 APMCs to MSAMB ,This system is an online application. This project handles
various types of works related to Request processing where policy of work may be of different
type. It will manage all company details. The computerized system helps a lot since it eliminates
the paper work and provides a better and efficient system.

Existing System:

1. 2% APMC computerized rest working manual/paper method.


2. Complicated and not user friendly.
3. encourages illegal methods. Like close-hand method.

Need of Proposed System:


The development of this new system contains the following activities, which try to automate the
entire process keeping in the view of database integration approach. User Friendliness is
provided in the application with various control s provided by system Rich User Interface. The
system makes the overall project management much easier and flexible. It can be accessed over
the Intranet. The user information can be stored in centralized database which can be maintained
by the system. This can give the good security for user information because data is not in client
machine. Authentication is provided for this application According to Access area and Users can
access. There is no risk of data management at any level while the project development is under
process. Categorization of computers in the database make easy to identify the various computer
peripherals. Automatic remainders will display the device maintaining report, if due dates are
over.

The application is now web based and it will be accessed by all the braches.

 APMC:
- Maintain records of Agri product those dispatch or enter in APMC and
view record(daily,weekly,monthly,quarterly,yearly).
- Agent registration ,generate agent licance id and view Agent Transaction rcord.
-Gives rate of Agri product.

-Change password facility
-View all APMC products and rate.

-Two type of product are in APMC i.e perishable and non-perishable.
-Product grading according to APMC product grading rules.

 Employee:
-Employee works under employee.
-Employee Auction the farmer product.
-Employee purchase the product.
-Employee generate the bill.
-Employee make payment for farmer.
-Employee receive the payment for customer.
 Customer:
-Customer registration for online or walking in employee.
-Customer create our A/C.
-Customer select the product type,quality and quantity.
-Customer purchase product.
-Customer select the no of Installment.
-Customer pay payment using payment mode i.e Cash/cheque/Net banking.
-Customer Accept the bill recipt.
. Objectives of System:

 Study of 100 APMCs to understand the required computer hardware for each APMC
for implementation of software of CAS&OA. Understand the requirements of software
for CAS&OA, it’s MIS for 100 APMCs and implementation, training and support for
CAS&OA for 100 APMCs, in the State.
 Design & development / customization of readily developed software, testing,
implementation, training & support of web based Software for Computerized Auction
System & Office Automation (CAS&OA) for Computerization of 100 APMCs, in the
State, with IPR of the Software for 300 APMCs to MSAMB.
 Design, development, testing, implementation, training & Support for integrated MIS
of CAS&OA.
 Scope of the System
 The specific tasks to be performed by the Service Provider are mentioned below.
 A)Computerized Auction System & Office Automation (CAS&OA) for
Computerization of APMCs.
 i)The Service Provider shall visit APMCs and study various activities, including the
procedures of record keeping for arrivals & dispatch of agri. produce, the volume of
the crop wise arrivals in season & off-season, the number of farmers, commission
agents and traders, the weighing process, the auction system & auction sites, the office
activities & record keeping, the payment system, etc. It also includes the minimum
functionality and an indicative list of the arrangements
 required for the proposed Computerized Auction System & Office Automation
(CAS&OA) software in APMCs.
 ii)The Service Provider shall verify the above mentioned indicative list of the
functionality and arrangements required for the proposed CAS&OA Software in the
APMCs. This will include verification of the assessment of required hardware,
software, network, power backup, internet connectivity for APMCs and central server
& accessories at MSAMB and selection of the commodities (preferably onion, wheat,
jawar, bajara, maize, etc.) to be covered for the system. The detailed assessment
verification report shall be submitted to MSAMB for approval.
