This course deals with principles and concepts of Agrarian Reform. Its focus is to the development of Agrarian Reform and Land
Reform in the Philippines and the various forces which shape every change in the country·s Economy leading to the understanding of
changes in the government. The 1987 Philippine Constitution with emphasis in Article II section 21 and R.A No. 6657 is an important
part of the course.

At the end of the course, the students are expected to:

1.Y Show, by way of oral and written examinations, substantial understanding of the general principles of the state and the
government of the Republic of the Philippines;
2.Y Develop and show comprehensive knowledge of the provisions of the Constitution of the Philippines;
3.Y Understand the basic rights, responsibilities and obligations as a citizen.

4.Y To gain a better understanding of the field of Economics and Taxation both historic and current;
5.Y To become familiar with the research methodology commonly used by Social Scientist. To become familiar with the scientific
method, and examine the benefits and limitations of this method of inquiry.

2.Y To respond appropriately to life situations that call for the application of the knowledge of the Constitution;
