Relies on water flow for food, oxygen, and removal of waste
Phylum Mollusca or Mollusks
Phylum Mollusca
Muscular Foot Animals
Has soft outer layer call mantle
3 kinds of mollusca
• Gastropoda ( Stomach Foot ) ex. Snails and Slugs
• Pelecypoda ( Bivalves = 2 shells ) ex. clams and Oysters
• Cephalapoda ( head foot ) ex. Squid and Octopus - Has tentacles.
Phylum Mollusca

All mollusks who live underwater breathe by gills called Ctenida or

simple lungs if they are terrestrial.
Mollusks has an intricate digestive system like humans, they have
mouth, esophagus, stomach, and anus. Their oral system has a teeth
called radula.
PHYLUM ARTHROPODA

having an exoskeleton, a segmented body,
and paired jointed appendages. Arthropods
includes insects, arachnids, myriapods, and
crustaceans.
