To be a part of those people who create and provide

a scientific society for the upliftment and the betterment of the world, only engineering provided the
optimal path to take part in this glorious journey. Although pursuing engineering is considered to be
mainstream, the real-world problems posed by the common man never ceases to end. I feel the
solutions to these problems can only be found by the young and bright engineering minds of the
century. Wanting to be one of those minds, trying to understand the industry and market and bringing
about changes that will make a huge impact in the lives of many is the goal I would want to achieve from
the education that I receive. I knew no other stream other than engineering could fulfill this goal of
mine.

Engineering tests one’s analytical thinking and problem solving skills. It molds and fine tunes a person to
channelize his/her passion to his most desired field of interest. Every branch in engineering is
interconnected under the tree called science. Thus, an engineer at the end of his formal education
would not only know about welding or circuits but a little of everything to sustainably survive in this
world.

As a child, I’ve always loved to take apart things and analyze a particular circuit or an instrument and
find out how it works. Now with the knowledge of the working of most electrical circuits and devices, it
not only gives me pleasure in taking apart things and analyzing them but also instigates me to think of
new ways in which a circuit or device can me made better or into something entirely different. My field
of interest lies in Electric Vehicles and their growth in the transportation industry. I’m currently working
on the speed control of a PMSM motor. Apart from this, I like to code and also explore in the field of
robotics as a hobby. While trying a different perspective to the whole engineering course, I’ve taken up
studies and submitted papers in the field of sustainability and development related to engineering
practices.

In order to achieve success and fame, a person has to be an all-rounder. Being a book worm or an
introvert alone won’t help a person to achieve his/her aspirations. According to me, I have the patience
to wait. Results will yield as long as you keep pushing yourself and you are consistent and have the
confidence in the work you do. I am self-motivated and also love to motivate the people around me.
Never to lose confidence, I keep working till I know a definitive outcome of the given problem. Lastly,
being very adaptive to the environment being put into, I gel and move along with the people
surrounding me.

As an engineer, I’d like to create and innovate. Being employed in a company needs training and
expected requirements but contrastingly, all you need is an idea and the passion to create, innovate and
pursue that as your dream in life. Research is my passion and I’d want to look into emerging technology
that can be combined with ancient methods in order to make them sophisticated and at the same time,
sustainable in the long run. I believe I have the potential to create a change and leave a deep mark in
the history of mankind.
