Introduction:

A Attention-getter: Comparing alkaline waters by bringing physical products for

people to see and testing them afterwards.

B Speaker credibility/listener relevance: To make the audience think for their

selves that alkaline water somehow is a mystery.

C Thesis statement: I will talk about alkaline water, its history and marketing, and
the benefits and the side effects of consuming it.

D Preview: First, I’ll give you some history about alkaline water and how that became
popular in the consumer world.

Body:

Transition: Despite the good reasons behind purchasing alkaline water, there is enough research if
alkaline water helps our bodies.

Conclusion: Inform yourselves about products you buy so you won’t look stupid after someone tells you
more information about the product that you didn’t know.
