Why is India's economic slow down not part of the global

recession?
Absolutely India’s economic slowdown not because of global recession. India
went in to this vicious circle due to greedy, cheap political power games
played by our entire political system.

First I would like to explain why Global economy won’t effect on us. In real it
is opportunity for us.

Our major export is ITenabled services, due to rise in dollar price we are
getting more revenue than expected.

Our major import is fuel. Due to ongoing technology transformation of auto

industry from fossil fuel to electric, oil prices are in downtrend, which is good
for our economy.

US China trade war putting pressure to shift manufacturing facility from China
to other places, which is great opportunity to India.

The broad picture is clear.

Then, what is halting the growth of our country which consists of more youth
than any other country on earth?

The main culprit is as usual, inefficient legacy taxation system.

The major danger is political interference in business ecosystem. The BJP

think tank discovered a new electoral strategy, which is to choke the supply of
funds at opponent parties/candidates. To test the waters without proper
homework PM announced demonetization and succeeded to cut off the
resources of opposition parties in UP state assembly elections in 2017. It is
open secret in Indian election system 10% to 15% votes influenced by money.
BJP succeeded in assembly elections.

By the time of 2019 Parliament elections, they want to repeat the same
strategy. They identified or aimed certain business houses who may fund
opposition parties and paralysed the business activity of the targeted business
houses with the help of ED and CBI. This was done in very big scale, through
out the country and the sudden terrorism by government agencies halted
major economic activity of the country. what we are witnessing are nothing,
but ill effects of election strategies.

Another major factor to economy slowdown is freebies offered by various

political parties across the country. This will kill the work culture and keeps
the people in poverty and distress always.

The second factor is front runner states like Andhra Pradesh which is
contributing double digit growth since past 4 years, suddenly went in to
negative growth. The vengeance politics by Mr.Jaganmohan Reddy stalled
multi crore on going works, which leaves many people jobless and GST
revenues hit low.

It is high time to protect our business environment from political terrorism

with fine laws. Otherwise no need to think of foreign investments here, even
the local entrepreneurs not ready to invest in new vetures, many of them
already started to relocate from India.

The only hope is the brutal majority of BJP government in both the houses. In
an inevitable situation, if they took drastic steps like

Ease tax system

Protect business system from political attack with good legal protection.

Identifying the bottle necks in the economy and redefine the priorities.
