 Currently associated with Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. as Deputy Manager (Electrical &
Automation)

 Working with Siemens S7-400,300 PLC, Ladder Logic & WinCC (SCADA) for maintenance
of 1.4 MTPA Bar mill.

 Modification in programme & logics as per process requirement.

 Adding new tags & HMI development in WinCC as per process requirement.

 Analysis of cobble in IBA (pda) for smooth operation of mill, suggesting operations to change

 Electrical ,Automation & maintenance of automatic Bar tying machine ( Strapping machine )

 Signal exchange between CPUs using dp-dp coupler.

 IO testing & troubleshooting, Fixing Tracking instruments like Proximity Sensors, HMDs,
Loop Scanners, Photocells and Pyrometers, working with encoders.
 Basic level skill in troubleshooting Ethernet & OFC Network of PLCs & HMIs.

 Maintenance of motors from 2.2 Kw to 132 KW Mill Motors.

 Co-ordinating with Electrical Contractor for Installation of Control & Power Junction Boxes
as per drawing, termination of Control & Power cables as per termination schedule.

 Adept at handling Erection and maintenance activities of HT, LT Switchgear,

PCC.MLDB.PDB, DG Sets.

 Proficiency in identifying & troubleshooting electrical & Automation problem.

 Preparation of SOPs of Electrical system, Preparation & regular updating of All Electrical
equipments checklist to monitor system health. Maintaining record of daily, quarterly &
annual maintenance of equipments, Why Why Analysis,5S,Safety & work permit, following
proper procedure for safety during Electrical shutdown.

 Troubleshooting Electrical Faults & Handling Breakdown to restore system on minimal

possible time to reduce downtime.

 Procurement of Electrical spares, store & spare management to avoid any unwanted crisis due
to Electrical items.

 Statutory compliance of existing and new system, modification in installation as

recommended by statutory authority.

 Gathered working knowledge of MICOM BCU, RTU, PASIC SCE, PASIC CMT, SMT,
MICOM S1Studio, SATEC meters, Optical Fibre communication.

 Part of Erection, Commissioning & Testing team of HT & LT Switchboards (33 KV & 415 V),
Testing of LT motors of Roller Tables.
 Erection of RIO Panels, Stabilisation of PROFIBUS network between RIOs and PLC.
 Electrical & Automation of HSD, Cooling-bed, Cold cut, Bundle farming & storage areas.

BAR MILL Maintenance:

 Handling Bar Mill Electrical shift activities as Shift-In-Charge & Supporting operations Team
for hassle free operation of the Mill.
 Analysis of cobble using IBA Analyzer (PDA software).
 Working with Siemens S7-400 PLC & WinCC for maintenance of bar mill.
 Maintenance of Utility area & Filtration plant.
 Creating SOPs, Planning and implementing proactive / preventive / shut down maintenance
schedules for machinery so as to increase machine up-time / equipment reliability.

Substation Automation:

 Working with RTUs (Remote Terminal Units) for integration of Substation signals in SCADA.
 Executing IO validation & troubleshooting from field to SCADA using protection & Scheme
Drawings.
 Preparing Control Cable schedule, input output list preparation & estimation of DI/AI/DO
modules for substation, configuring and testing substation specific interlocks.

Erection & Commissioning

 Erection of 33Kv Switchboards ( SIEMENS,ABB,ALSTOM) for plant power Distribution &

part of its Scheme testing & commissioning team.
 Basic working knowledge of MICOM S1 STUDIO, PCM 600 for configuration of MICOM &
ABB relays, extracting & uploading relay setting, DR extraction.
 Worked with protection & scheme drawings of Substation.
 Installation of Power Line Carrier Communication System for protection, data and voice
communication with Sub-SLDC (remote substation).
 Testing of Current Transformer, Potential Transformer, and Circuit Breakers.

Substation Operations & Maintenance:

Functioning as a part of the Electrical Power Distribution & Fault Troubleshooting Team of
central E&I; monitoring power distribution with SCADA system.

 Identifying areas of obstruction / breakdown for taking steps to restore power.
