The Book Of John John 4:49-54

The official said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” Jesus said to him, ”Go; your son will
live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way. As he was going
down, his servants met him and told him that his son was recovering. So he asked them the hour
when he began to get better, and they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left
him. The father knew that was the hour when Jesus has said to him, “Your son will live.” And he
himself believed, and all his household. This was now the second sign that Jesus did when He had
come from Judea to Galilee.

There’s a Word for that! Delight

Learn to mediate on God’s Word my friends. It will delight you every time. Meditation is a gift to
replace worry with Scripture. Try memorizing all of Psalm 1 and bring it out in times of difficulty.

Psalm 1:2 – But his delight is in the law of the Lord and on it he meditates day and night.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the

ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners nor sits in the

seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord
and on it he meditates day and night. Lord, You have
given us such a rich opportunity to know You through
Your Word and this Psalm, Psalm 1, is particularly

delightful. Help us Lord to memorize it, meditate on it

day and night and commit it to the scroll on our soul
that we may know Your will. Thank You Lord for King
David and his heart of delight for You. We love You and
pray in the delightful name of Jesus. Amen.
