New Technology to Meet Emission Regulation


■ Muffler Filter that burns PM
The new ZAXIS captures the particulate matter (PM) that is exhausted from
the engine with a catalyzed soot filter in the muffler filter. The captured PM is
efficiently burned with the exhaust temperature control thanks to a diesel
oxidation catalyst, and the muffler filter is regenerated.

■ Muffler filter needs maintenance


The burning ember of metal element in the engine oil is left, and it clogs
muffler filter. Need to clean up the ashes with appropriate device every
4500 hours.

Sulfur content fuel gives fatal damage to muffler filter


When high sulfur fuel is used in 3B engine, the muffler filter function
deteriorates. As the result oxidation reaction of unburned fuel does not
occur during regeneration. Regeneration will be impossible.

Our long-popular power boost feature has been increased by 10% over normal mode in the
