Upper Valve Body

1. Disassembly
Remove three OE bolts, plate, springs and piston. Discard piston and save other parts
for reuse.

2. Installation & Assembly

a. Place Sonnax O-ring in replacement piston groove. Coat O-ring on piston with
assembly lube.
b. Install Sonnax piston, O-ringed end first into the bore.
c. Reinstall OE springs.
d. Secure components in bore with OE plate
and bolts, torqued to 8 ft-lbs. Upper Valve Body

3. Final Testing

A vacuum test at the port indicated holds VACUUM

TEST

18 in-Hg or more.
