INTRODUCTION

The concept of this program is to serve the surrendered drug users for their total recovery

from the ill habit through lectures, trainings and workshop that will enlighten and enhance

their spiritual life and most specially equipped them of skills and talent which will help uplift

their way of living.

II. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The purpose of this activity is to create an avenue of opportunities for A FIGHT

AGAINST DRUGS Beneficiaries to regain their self-worth as a human being which may

have been compromised by their involvement in illegal drug activities. Furthermore, this

favorable juncture of circumstances may help them realize their chances of becoming a

reformed individual who eventually becomes productive again in their respective family and

community.

III. OBJECTIVES

The goal of this project is to instill the hearts of the surrenders the right to give

time for realization of their worth as a human being and to release them from the bondage

of drugs for them to fulfill their personal responsibilities to their family and community.

The objectives of the project shall be as follows:

 1. To provide additional skills that will be used to support their daily needs.

2. To advance the believer, someone who has already believed in Jesus Christ, to the point

of spiritual maturity.

3. To help the surrenders to become a reformed individual.

The reformation of a substance abuser includes a meticulous consideration of the physical-

medical aspect, which is “Detoxification”: a process to relieve an abuser from his addiction

which severely impairs his/her normal responses and physical condition.

This project also focuses on the psycho-education for client and their family members

discussing the nature of addiction and effects of drug use and abuse and salient features of

the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. The love for life, libertyand family and fear for

God more than the authorities is what will help more these drug surrenders to truly give up

their drug addiction. This is what will help them to have a long-term change even after the

term of President Rodrigo Duterte.

By implementing this project, our city will have more encompassing upright citizens that

impel a drug-restricted city. Other than this, the project itself could help when it comes to the

development of our city by providing opportunities such as livelihood program as a possible

course of action to those who are involved in drug-related cases. Thereby, the number of

people who are involved in drug-related cases could be lessen and would gradually cross

fade.

 We will conduct numerous sessions to make this proposed project happen. On the first

session, we will have an orientation and contract signing for the participants who wants to

participate. On second session, we will have a lecture about Psycho-education with client and

family. On third session, we will have an evaluation and referral. Lastly, on the fourth

session, we will hold an awarding and completion ceremony for the after care.

 This program is to help assist and facilitate the complete recovery of the surrendered drug

users in order for them to rejoin and rebuild their lives in the community. Series of lectures,

trainings and workshop will be conducted to enlighten and enhance their spiritual life and

most specially equipped them of skills and talent which will help uplift their way of living.

The other sectors of the society like the elderly, the youth, the families, religious

organizations, the school and the Barangay are encourage to cooperate in this activity to have

it more realistic and fruitful
