STAFF CLUB LIGHTING CONCEPT

this project attempts to create a nocturnal image of
the staff club building in order to create a leisure
place for the staff. as in the other buildings we try to
profit from the transparency of the architecture to take
advantage of this light as a source for the nocturnal
image of the building; here again we use dynamic
lighting effects in one facade to create a feature that
could be attractive for the settind.
in view A-201-A we have designed a lighting system
with dmx color changers to create an atmosphere of
relaxation and fun to serve as a backdrop for the pool
area. the slow random pattern of color changes will
create an pleasant visual effect. light will be projected
onto the aluminium profiles shielding the building.
the cantilevered roof will act as a screen where all the
light will be blend in as if it where a theatrical cyclorama.

in view A-201-B the illumination of the metal grid is
more conventional and do not require any special
treatment. the light projected onto the aluminium
profiles will produce a soothing effect.
in view A-201- C this complexe interplay of volumes
gets a minimalistic lighting treatment.
in view A-201-D we suggest the illumination of 2 sig-
nificant planes: the staircase cage and the continua-
tion of the roof. my approach is intuitive but it res-
ponds to the need of balance between dark and light
planes.

functional lights. this facade of the building is the
most important leissure area of the complex. the
emphasis in a dynamic lighting effect using colors
will help to create a beautiful background for the
pool activites during the night.
