leftists.

other groups of people like Proud Boys, White supremacists, KKK, pro-trump Rallies etc.

a. How does ANTIFA view these rights and how do they support them?
- With the research I have done it seems like antifa only has problems with parts of the first, second,
and 10 amendment.
- First amendment: I seem that antifa wants to express their values and the things that they support
but want to silence others in the things they support. So antifa likes the first amendment as long as it
applies to their cause and/or things that they support, but then it comes to people they don’t like such
as the “far-right/conservatives” they want to do everything in their power to silence the things they try
to support.

- Second amendment: From the videos I watched it seems that the gun debate ranges from not guns
whatsoever to not guns that can be changed into automatic guns. But the bulk of what ive seen is
not gun whatsoever. (IF POSSIBLE, ELABORATE HERE. IT’S AN INTERESTING POINT YOU’RE
TRYING TO BUILD CONTEXT FOR.)

b. How does ANTIFA oppress the rights of others by their actions? Does using violence support
or hurt democracy?
- Antia uses violence to stop people like white suppremist and pro 2020 trump supporters from
expressing their first amendment right to free speech. In this video below antifa tried to push back
their rivals is a stamped like fashion with the use of shields an aggressive actions. This infringes on
the first amendment rights for free speech, and the freedom to assemble and gather. If the crowded
does not stand down like in the video, antifa will not hesitate to start getting physical.

- Even though is not illegal a common antifa tactic is to shout over their rivals with saying things like
“No Trump, No KKK, No Facist USA” and “Not My America”. But most often than not anifa just spat
their beliefs with no kind of unison plus they think thats its ok to criticising people mainly African
Americans for being conservatives that show up in support of Donald Trump. This also clashes with
the first amendment because this obviously shows that antifa think that the supports should not be
heard nor listen to. Yes the first amendment says nothing about having to listen but it does talk about
freedom of speech that extends to the white suppremist and the way that antifa tries to silence them
goes against that right.

c. What is the gray area of antifa?

- The gray area of antifa I found is that anifa stand up for good things that the masses would agree
with like equality and opposes things like neo-nazis, Neo-facist, White supremacist, etc. With that the
main problem is still the way they go about it. Anitfa uses and is ok with violence because they think
that a little violence is ok of it get their point across and makes a change. Antifa oppose extreme
group on the “far-right” like the KKK and “Proud Boys” and labels any others ideologies that not in
line with theirs as fascist. Antifa fight and apposses the same thing that they are, an extremist group
with their own political values
(Note: Antifa preaches self-defence)

3. Equality
b What is a major protest incidents?
- Antifa has been around since the 1920s and 30s but was not as well known by the 20th century until
an incident in Charlottesville, Virginia. The organization of “Unite the Right” activists were protesting
the action of taking down the confederate general Robert E. Lee statue down while chanting “White
Lives Matter” The protest was eventually dispersed with help from police but quickly regrouped and
continued protesting. One street in downtown Charlottesville a white suppremist drove a car through
a group of anti-protests causing , 19 injured to be injured and 1 dead. The driver of the car was
there in support of the “Unite the Right” rally. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kerAy94eWLc

- An incident perpetrated by Antifa happened in Berkeley, California, a man was hitting several
different people (conservatives) with a u-lock(bike lock) at a pro-trump rally. The man named Eric
Clation. Clation’s action injured seven people causing 3 people to go to the hospital. He was then
charged with 4 counts of assault but plead not guilty and get 3 years probation

C. Does antifa Incite violence?

- Even though this does not “incite violence” antifa still tend to bring their own weapons.
They bring things like mace, axes, poles metal or wooden, self make shields and online
doxing. Sometimes do things like milk shaking. Milk shaking are when people put quick
drying cement in cups and throw it on people they don’t like.
- Here are some actual quotes that show that shows how antifa incite violence:
● Antifa member: “what if opponents of the German Nazi Party had been more
forceful in their opposition in the 1930s, could World War Two and the Holocaust
have been averted?
● Antifa medic: “A little bit of violence is okay. It looks as though the mob is trying to
push these people of a zone, and they succeeded in doing that. I didn't look like
anyone was going to die. The goal was to make them leave and that seems to be
the result. Like, big deal. They’re fascists. They should leave.”

4. Life
A. Expose For Misgivings
- Antifa uses the internet to do something called doxing. The definition of doxing search
for and publish private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the
Internet, typically with malicious intent. Antifa seems to the paradox people for 2
reasons. One of the reasons for the doxing is to let the public know that a specific person
is a white supremacist so that you can keep your self safe.

B. Prive Info
- The other reason antifa seems to the paradox people is in the hope that something bad
happens to that person. This is not confirmed but with the level of violence antifa is ok
with using it seems that this would be a desired outcome.
5. Final Thoughts

- Overall antifa stands up for a really good thing and wants equality for all and in that they
believe that violence is the way to get their point across. The seems that antifa believe in
the common saying “you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet”, and they have
clearly showed it. I think that ANTIFA has a place in society, but…
- Hypocritical
- Contradictory
- Ruin the image of people and organizations trying to fight against white supremacist and
Trump2020 in a more rationalized way.
