Introduction
• This application will be used to create and approve requests for permit to work and will be a pre-activity task
mandatory to follow for all works involving predefined risk types. This is a requirement for Health & Safety
compliance.

• Application maintains site and user (creator, approver) data in backend. Admin shall maintain this data for
different circles.

• Users are mapped at circle level. User’s device IMEI is required for mobile app login.

Download and install PTWAssist APK file
1. Go to PTW home page (http://93.183.28.200/ptw/home).
2. Click the link in “Download APK file here”. See image below.

Download and install PTWAssist APK file, continue..
3. You will be redirected to another page as shown in below image.
4. Click on the APK file name to download. Copy the downloaded APK file to your registered mobile and install it.
Allow the permissions that are asked during and after the installation.

 Create new Location services should be enabled

request creation.

Click on ‘Go’ button to
list nearby sites. You Fill other details like Activity

 After completing the New PTW

 For each type of PTW Request, there
is a specific set checklists that needs
to be filled by user.

PTW Submit

 Green check marks come for images
that are uploaded successfully. In case
image upload fails, please ensure data
connectivity and click on ‘UPLOAD
IMAGES’ button again.

 Open the PTW request view.

Path to follow is: Login -> Home ->

Open side navigation drawer -> Click
on ‘View PTW Request’. It opens the
PTW list. Select the PTW from given
list.

PTW Request In the PTW Request page, click on

‘CLOSE PTW’ button. This will change
closure the PTW status to
‘CLOSED_BY_ENGINEER’. Also a
notification will be sent to Approver
and then the Approver needs to close
the PTW request by following steps
similar to above.

Once PTW request is closed by

Engineer and Approver both, then the
PTW workflow is closed for that
request.

 User may also opt for ‘Refuse To Work
(RTW)’ in certain situations (e.g. bad
RTW weather condition, etc.).
(Refused To To submit RTW requests, click on
Work) ‘REFUSE TO WORK (RTW)’ button.

In case of RTW, the checklists and

images are not mandatory.

 For RTW cases, user needs to enter
the reason for RTW and then the
request is submitted.

A notification is sent to the Approver

and the workflow ends there.

 This view shows list of PTW request
created for the day.

User can also use filters and search.

View PTW Filter can be applied based on PTW

type and status.

Search is based on PTW Reference

Number.

Clicking on any PTW list item opens

the details PTW view.
