Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist creative with tradeshow collateral designs- signs, product cards, concept boards. Design and assist in creating business
cards, letterhead, event flyers, web & banner ads, t-shirt designs, editorial documents, wordpress, brochures, and illustra-
tions.

Coordinate promotional opportunities with a variety of public relations tactics – press releases, featured stories, interviews
and cover stories – to position clients as experts, educate the audience with actionable information, and highlight products
that have a clear perceived edge in the marketplace. Clients include: Wright Express, Omni Direct, Listen Up Espanol,
OrderLogix, and Sunoco.

Directly involved in combining television, web, print media and social media to permeate the market for a client nationally
with a small business-based contest called “10 Grand to Grow”. Created and implemented a social media plan using multiple
avenues creating coverage ranging from local and regional blogs to multiple Facebook pages, LinkedIn pages and Twitter
feeds- increasing awareness and creating over 30,000 impressions around the contest.

Coordinate accounts by being the point of contact for clients through both internal and external communications; Initiate
media along with the needed placement. Responsible for researching, writing and proofing media kits, white papers, press
releases, articles for print, website copy, pitch letters, SEO, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and proposals. Responsible
for business award writing for clients, Inc. 500 placement with editorials. Creating editorial calendars, conducting inter-
views, and pitching via phone and email and being a point of contact for all editorial needs – whether on part of the client or
the publication, in turn, developing strong working relationships with publication contacts.

Swardlick Marketing Group is a full service agency that partners with companies, organizations and institutions of all sizes regional, na-
tional and international – to launch new products, open new markets, revitalize brands and influence consumer behavior.

As the front desk receptionist I handled all front desk duties, including greeting customers, mail, shipping, filing and general
administrative and executive support. Assist account services staff with overflow work, including word processing, editing,
data entry and Internet research tasks.

Maine Center for Creativity, Membership Coordinator, Portland, ME, 05/09- 12/09

The Maine Center for Creativity is a non-profit 501(c)3 led by a volunteer Board of Directors dedicated to creating projects and programs
that support the arts and promote the growth of the creative industries and professions in Maine that contribute to the vitality of Maine’s
economy.

As the Membership Coordinator I built membership from 0 to over 50 members in 4 months, raising over $4,500 through
promotional avenues of marketing, event planning, and social media. Responsible for tracking and managing pledges receiv-
able, IRS letters, and filing for a 1.2 million dollar project, and the implementation of database management system with
ASP software application, e-tapestry.

As the marketing and PR intern my responsibilities were to assist executive director with creating projects and programs
that support the arts and promote the growth of the creative industries and professions in Maine. Directly involved in the
Art All Around project as well as other fund raising and development projects. Knowledge of business development, database
management, expense reports, and grants.
