Science Learning Action Cell (L.A.C.) Session 2

2:00 PM at Room 8 Gabaldon Building

1. Checking of the attendance of the faculty members was done. The attendance sheet is
attached herewith.
2. Prayer was led by Mrs. Roselle C. Nisnisan.

Minutes of the Meeting:

I. Secretary’s Time
I read the minutes of the previous L.A.C. session for grades 7 and 8 then Ms. Sarah
Jane A. Echavez read the previous minutes for grades 9 and 10.

II. Coordinator’s Time

Mr. Jepson Y. Cuadra informed the group about the updates about the Division Level
Science fair.
 Having an entry for Line tracing Robot category and Sumobot Category.
 Contestant for the Science Quiz will be from grades 9 and 10 only.
 The registration fee per participant is P100.00 and charged to school’s MOOE.
School Level Science Fair
 SSG will sponsor the first prize of the Upcycling Contest.
 Updating the progress of preparation in all activities.
 Registration and putting up of SIP will be on September 26 facilitated by YES-O
officers.
 Morning of September 26 will be the checking of materials for the Upcling
Contest and the contest proper will be on the next day.

III. Division Science In-charge Time

Mrs. Vida Encarquez, the Science In-charge arrived and facilitated the L.A.C. session.
The topic about the session was about lesson planning and classroom management.
 She gave copies of the sample lesson plan format and explain the parts of the
lesson plan. (Copy is attached here.)
 She announced the schedule for division INSET about Strategic Intervention
Materials (SIM)
 October 25 -26 – Secondary – Reyna’s Haven
 October 23 – 24 – Elementary - Reyna’s Haven

IV. Science In-charge Time

 Mrs. Maria Teresa T. Laroda announced that the schedule of the In-service
training will be on October 22 to 26.
 Submission of the second quarter test questionnaire will be on the first week of
October.

V. The closing prayer was led by Mrs. Marilyn A. Maninantan and the meeting ended at
3:00 pm.
