Dear John Reve,

We are pleased to offer you employment with MG-Hila, LLC, contingent upon the successful
completion of applicable background check, if any, and subject to the following terms and
conditions:

Non-Exempt Status: Full-Time/Temporary


Position: Cook II/J1 Extern
State Date: TBD, Contingent upon VISA status
Division: The Street, Honolulu

Compensation. You will be paid on an hourly rate of $14.00 per hour for training, less standard
deductions and withholdings. You will be paid on an hourly basis, which means you will be paid
based on the number of hours you work. Your position is designated as non-exempt; as such, you will
be eligible for overtime pay if you work more than 40 hours in a work week. Paid time off is not
counted as time worked, and you will be required to receive advance authorization from
management to work overtime.

You will be paid bi-weekly (every other week) on the Friday following the end of the pay period.

Tip-eligible employees will initially be compensated at a Training Rate, not less than the applicable
minimum wage; not to exceed 30-days from hire date. Thereafter, you will be paid according to the
stipulated tipped hourly rate.

Reporting: In this role you will report to the Restaurant’s Executive Chef, TBD.

Medical Benefits: First of the month following 30 days of employment. Eligibility is based on service
hours averaging 20 hours per week; on a regular basis. MG-Hila, LLC will contribute a fixed amount
toward employee-only monthly premiums; any overage will be the employee’s responsibility and will
be deducted from bi-weekly paychecks. Coverage for any dependents is also available at your
expense.
Paid Time Off: You may also be eligible to receive Paid Time Off “PTO”. Eligible employees will be
granted 16 PTO hours on 1st year anniversary date; and an additional 16 hours granted thereafter on
each subsequent anniversary date with a maximum cap of 40 hours per year. Eligibility is based on
service hours averaging 40 hours per week during previous year. Employees who separate from
employment with the Company will not be paid for any unused PTO leave.

Employment Reference & Work Authorization: This offer is contingent upon the satisfactory results of
an employment reference check. You will be required to provide evidence of your eligibility to work
in the U.S. within three business days of starting work.

‘At-Will’ Status: You should understand that the existence of this letter in no way effects the terms of
your employment, which are ‘at will’ and therefore your employment is subject to termination at any
time for any reason by the Company or yourself.

Non-Disclosure, Non-Compete & Non-Solicitation: You may be required to execute a separate


agreement covering non-disclosure, non-competition, and non-solicitation as a condition of
employment. You will be provided with a copy of the agreement when you commence
employment.

Policies and Procedures: You will be required to fully comply with all applicable MG-Hila, LLC policies
and procedures, which may be amended from time to time. You will be provided with MG-Hila,
LLC’s stated policies and procedures when you commence employment.
