STEM Xplorers / This school offers FSP (Future Science Program) which is a recently emerged

learning technique designed especially for the lower grade students (Sts. III to V) to understand the
various concepts of Science through hands-on-learning.

Dronobots (Electronics & Robotics Programme) is a systematic approach for higher grade students
(Std. VI to IX) to know about the working of various electronic components diluted in such a way
that school students can understand it easily which gradually bestows the knowledge of robotics &

Census 2011 for UPSC


The Census of India 2011 was organized in two stages as trails House listing and Housing Census
and Population Enumeration. The population of India has augmented by more than 181 million
during the decade 2001-2011. As per 2011 Census population report of India is pegged at 1.21
billion, a surge of more than 181 million in the last 10 years. Here we are giving the key facts and
data of Census of India.
The 15th Census of India and the 7th Census of Independent India-2011 was started on 1st April
2010 with President being the first citizen to be enumerated, followed by Vice President of India. The
slogan of census 2011 was ‘Our Census, Our future’. C. Chandramouli was the Census
Commissioner of India 2011.

 Population Enumeration (9th to 28 February 2011)
The population of the nation as per the provisional figures of Census 2011 is 1210.19 million of
which 623.7 million (51.54%) are males and 586.46 million (48.46%) are females. Uttar Pradesh is
the most populous State in the India which is considered as the population more than the population
of Brazil.

Census 2011

Census is nothing but a process of collecting, compiling, analyzing, evaluating, publishing and
disseminating statistical data regarding the population. It covers demographic, social and economic
data and are provided as of a particular date. Census is useful for formulation of development
policies and plans and demarcating constituencies for elections. The Census of India has been
conducted 15 times, As of 2011. It has been conducted every 10 years, beginning in 1871.
