According to Banister, David, and Kenneth (2016), regulatory agencies are government

bodies that are formed by the administration to supervise operations and implement laws in their

particular means of transport. There are different types of transport agencies that supervise all

public transport. For example the Federal Aviation Administration which is responsible for

overseeing civil aviation. Similarly, it is responsible for operation and growth of development of

the National Airspace System and ensuring the protection of civil aviation. Additionally, the

FAA is responsible for developing and conducting programs to control the noise of the airplanes

and other environmental effects (Coyle et al. 2015).

Second, the Federal Highway Administration is an agency that helps in supporting the

government in designing, constructing, and maintaining the country’s highways and the lands.

Federal Highway Administration is liable for ensuring that all the highways and roads are very

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is an agency that was formed to develop and

enforce regulations that balanced the safety of motor carriers with competence. FMCSA created

educational awareness messages that targeted the motor carriers, the commercial drivers, and the

public and safety groups (Coyle et al. 2015). Additionally, FMCSA arranged some labor to

decrease the crashes between the trucks and the busses.
