9-11-01 Prayer Memorial

Men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Luke 18:1

We at The Ministry of the Watchman International have established a Prayer
Memorial to ensure that the events of September 11, 2001 never happen again.

We encourage everyone who desires to pray for our nation to join us in praying for leadership, elected
officials firefighters, military, and protective services. Below please find prayer bookmarks, (which include
Psalm 91 on the front side and a prayer against terrorism on the other), along with a list of people in our
government, protective services, and military so that you can pray for them by name.

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of
thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a
quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the
sight of God our Savior.” 1 Timothy 2:1-3
 GUIDELINES
For Using this Prayer Manual
Cleansing The Soul In Preparation For Prayer
Pertinent Scriptures:
Ps. 66:18; 1 Jn. 5:14; Eph. 2:18; Heb. 4:16; Heb. 11:6
It is essential to apply the principles of entering the Holy Place through
cleansing, just as the O.T. priest did. We cleanse our hearts by
applying the blood of Jesus through repentance and asking
forgiveness for our sins. We worship and praise the Lord as a means
of passing through the courts leading to the Holy Place. When we
have entered the Holy Place, the anointing for intercession will fall.

Claiming Blessings
Pertinent Scriptures: Gal. 3:13
Believers now have the blessing of Abraham to “be blessed and be a
blessing.” We use our power to bless by breaking curses wherever the
Spirit of God leads.

Praying The Word

Pertinent Scriptures: Gen. 1:3; Ro. 4:17
God's covenant is in operation as we become imitators of Him. We use
the word of faith that we speak to bring the things that we desire
into being.

Binding & Loosing

Pertinent Scriptures: Matt. 16:19
Only the church has the power to bind the forces of darkness. We must
use this power to stop the devil. Supplication only will not stop the
progress of evil. We must obey Jesus in all things. We have
dominion on the earth and must use the binding power as He
instructed us.

Following Jesus
Pertinent Scriptures: Ac. 10:36
We are not acting on our own will or intent, but following the
instructions of Jesus--the Head of the church. Remember that when
you follow the instructions of the Lord, you fight from a position of

victory, declaring and enforcing what has already been accomplished

for us. Pray both in the Spirit and with the understanding. Worship
the Lord at intervals while you war. This keeps your balance in your
position in the Spirit. Praying in the Holy Ghost keeps us in the
Love of God and builds our most Holy faith.

Instruction
These prayers are designed to be prayed with a partner. We are given
the promise that if two of us on earth agree as touching anything that we
may ask, Our Father who is in heaven will do what we ask. It is the
function of the church to bind and loose. Also, it is easier to pray if one
person prays in the Spirit while the other prays with the understanding.
This allows the spirit of worship to prevail. Praying in the Holy Spirit
allows the gifts of the Spirit to operate, especially the gift of prophecy,
which gives the rhema word for the situation. The Lord will also prepare
His people through foretelling events that will take place as a result of
intercession.
Always balance your warfare with worship, as you are in the presence
of God, you desire to give Him reverence at all times. Repent before
praying. Worship the Lord until the anointing for intercession descends
upon you.

the righteous avail much.
2. Use your authority to break curses and pray: people.
3. Pray the Word Prophesy to principalities and powers and bind
them.
4. Declare the Lordship of Jesus Christ Ask God to show mercy
to those involved; those who give mercy shall obtain mercy.
5. Break power of Retaliation: “The glory of the Lord will be our
rearguard.”
6. Satan is defeated! Declare the Lord’s glory!
7. If you do not have a prayer partner, pray alone following above
guidelines.

Let the mischief of they who assail us return upon his own head. Keep me as
the apple of the eye; hide me under the shadow of thy wings. Thank you for
teaching my hands to war and my fingers to fight, so that the bow of steel is
broken in my arms. Thank you that you have given me the necks of my
enemies. I ask you to shut the mouths of the lions that roar their threats
against me; cause the tongue of the wicked persecutors to cleave to the roof of
the mouth; stop the pointing of the finger against your servant. Stop those

Not a hair of our heads will fall to the ground in Jesus' Name. No
