We would like to inform you that your rate of pay will be $500 per week. Your employment is "At

Will," meaning that you may be dismissed for any reason without warning and without having to establish

just cause. You will first start with a one-month probation period. Upon the satisfactory conclusion of this

period, options of profit sharing and bonus will be further discussed between you and the Management

Board.

DRESS CODES

Overall, we expect all employees to follow conventional dress codes for a school setting to set good examples

to students. Teachers and tutors at CAREducation need to observe the following dress code requirements:

 No short-shorts (Shorts must be at least knee length)

 All tattoos should be covered

 Dresses/skirts should be at least knee length

 No leggings/ yoga pants unless worn with a dress

 Tops should cover your chest and stomach completely. If you reach your hands up no skin should

show, and no cleavage or low-cut shirts.

 Wear only natural-looking hair colors, colors that draw too much unwanted attention are not

encouraged.

 When working with students at the center, we require that you either wear closed-toed shoes or your

nails shouldn’t be overly long and should look presentable to students, though polish is optional.

DUTIES

Your detailed job description as a Branch Supervisor is as follows:

Job Title: CAREducation Branch Supervisor

Location: 2209 Lapalco Blvd., Ste N, Harvey, LA 70058

Working Pattern: Part time, as much as needed for the operation of the center but flexible upon

pre-arrangements

Responsible to: CAREducation Management Board

Responsible for: Other CAREducation teachers and staff

Overall Purpose: To lead and be responsible for the day to day management of CAREducation

before and after class time, providing professional support to other teachers and staff, offering academic and

recreational opportunities to students in a safe and secure environment.

 Manage, supervise and support CAREducation teachers and staff to ensure a high level of

service for the students

 Attend, record and participate in meetings with the Management Board & Teachers to ensure

the smooth running of the center

 Have an exemplary foundation of K-12 curriculum and the benchmark/ standardized tests

required by the state of Louisiana

 Create or supervise the creation of an appropriate, weekly plan of learning activities which are

appropriate, varied and enjoyable, to support the development of knowledge, skills and

experiences for all students of the center

 Teach, lead and mentor a designated group of students during operating hours to ensure they are

receiving help and improving through regular attendance

 Monitor and evaluate students’ responses to activities through observation to evaluate and

adjust activities as appropriate to meet the needs of the students

 Ensure that students’ contact details are up to date and key information about their school

performance is reported to CAREducation Director and relevant staff

 Ensure appropriate equipment and resources are available and in good condition

 Working within the agreed budget, order appropriate supplies as necessary and present invoices

promptly to the Director and Accounting Office

 Distribute and collect surveys, questionnaires or evaluation papers to students or parents as

required

 Assist with the setting-up of the center on each day of operation

 Assist with the preparation and serving of snacks as appropriate

 Help to create a welcoming and supportive environment for the students attending the center

 Be responsible for the management of the intellectual performance, behaviors and attitudes of

students attending the center

 Assist with the tidying of the venue after use and ensure the secure storage of resources and

equipment used

 Be responsible for administering and maintaining a registration or signing in system for both

teachers and students

 Help create relevant promotional displays for the center through a variety of marketing

channels

 Support the mission and philosophy of the center

o The mission of CAREducation is to strive to provide a caring, communal environment

where students of all grade levels from PreK to 12th are able to learn, relax, and

socialize. We offer affordable group tutoring, private tutoring and homework help,

Student Progress Tracking, enrichment activities and test-prep courses in Mathematics,

Science, English Language Arts, Social Studies, ACT/SAT, and Spanish.

o Philosophy: “A teacher’s mind, and a mother’s heart”. CAREducation’s activities and

settings center on Mindfulness, Meaningfulness, Minimalism as the core values.

 Set a good example of CAREducation in terms of work ethics, professionalism, behaviour and

attitude

 Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, food hygiene,

Health & Safety, security, administration and confidentiality, reporting all concerns to

CAREducation General Director and/or Owners when appropriate

 Be aware of and support difference and ensure all students have equal access to opportunities to

learn and develop

 Support the development of students with special educational needs and/or disabilities

 Establish constructive relationships and communicate with other agencies/professionals

 Participate in training, other learning activities and performance development as required

 Provision of induction training and advice to other staff and volunteers

 Obtain and maintain current first aid and CPR

 Be able to learn and use Quickbooks accounting software and CAREducation web-based app.

Daily checklist

Open and/or close center on time

Check supplies, equipment and maintenance of the center for ready operation

Check and conduct correspondence via emails, phone calls or in person with HQ and schools and/or

parents for students’ progression

Check lesson plan and prepare class materials (if needed)

Ensure teachers’ compliance with daily plan

Get Students Daily Attendance sheet and Snack Management sheet ready

Welcome students on their arrival

Prepare snacks

Start the group tutoring session by the agreed-upon schedule

Teach and monitor one designated group of students as lead teacher

Supervise teachers’ and students’ activities across the entire center

Collect payments, print invoices/receipts.

Weekly checklist

Post content related to the center’s learning and social activities on Facebook page and/or other social

media channels at least three (03) times per week

Send weekly report to HQ by the end of business day, Friday

Clean the whole floor and restroom area

Check inventory

Send out Weekly Lesson Plan to all teachers by end of business day, Friday

Monthly checklist

Celebrate birthdays and Student of the Month celebration (the last Thursday of each month, but the

date is tentative and can be changed with solid reasons under circumstances)

Organize at least one (01) guest-speaker event at the center

Purchase supplies if necessary

Staff meeting and training: at the end of each month

Monthly meeting with HQ: at the beginning of each month

Quarterly checklist

Carry out fire and lockdown drills

Renew or change decorations around the center for a seasonal theme

Update students’ progress reports

Organize community service event for the whole center to participate

Semester checklist

Organize Student Council nomination, voting and finalized team

Update students’ grade reports

Conduct Student’s Survey questionnaire, synthesize the results and submit to HQ

Write and submit a formal report concerning the operation of the center and self-evaluation

COMPENSATIONS

Base salary: $500 per week for at least 30 hours of attendance

Paid time off: 5 days (or 30 hours) per year

Paid holidays (1 day for each holiday)

New Year’s Day Labor Day

Memorial Day Thanksgiving Day

Independence Day Christmas Day

WORK PRODUCT

The Parties agree that all work product, information or other materials created and developed by the
Branch Supervisor in connection with the performance of duties and responsibilities under this Agreement and
any resulting intellectual property rights are the sole and exclusive property of the company. The property
includes, but is not limited to, corporate emails, company website and social media, learning materials, and
company’s handbook documents. All account names and passwords, including company email, are not to be
changed under any circumstances.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND CONDUCT OF EMPLOYEE

You acknowledge that, during the performance of services, you will have access to information relating to

student’s identity, address, contact information, and other personal information or requests for services

(“Confidential Information”). You agree that you owe a duty of confidentiality to CAREducation, LLC and your

students during the term of this Employee Contract and thereafter. You therefore expressly agree that in exchange

for receipt of confidential information necessary for you to provide your services, you shall hold all such

Confidential Information in the strictest confidence and not to disclose it to any person, firm or corporation or to

use it except as necessary in carrying out the services consistent with this Employee Contract.

You acknowledge that the premises and resources of CAREducation, LLC are to be used exclusively to

perform the duties assigned to you by CAREducation, LLC. Personal use of the premises and/or resources of

CAREducation, LLC is prohibited.

You acknowledge the importance of building relationships and trusts with your students and the

community. As such, you agree and consent to random drug and alcohol tests.

You acknowledge that compensation paid to employees of CAREducation, LLC is dependent on many

factors, including but not limited to, education, experience and market demand. Discussion of your

compensation by CAREducation, LLC or compensation of your fellow co-workers by CAREducation, LLC

is prohibited.

COVENANT NOT TO COMPETE

As a teacher, you acknowledge the importance of building relationships and trust with your students and the

community. As such, you acknowledge that the business of CAREducation, LLC depends on relationships and trust,

and that as an employee of CAREducation, LLC you are working to build relationships and trust on behalf of

CAREducation, LLC. From the date of this Employment Contract and for a period of two years, you agree that you

will not, directly or indirectly, operate, own any interest in, manage, control, participate in (whether as an officer,

director, employee, investor, agent, representative or otherwise), consult with, render services for, or in any manner

engage in any business similar to the business of the CAREducation, LLC, as historically conducted and as described

in this Employee Contract within a five (5) mile radius of the CAREducation, LLC.

INDEMNITY AND HOLD HARMLESS

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CAREducation, LLC, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and their

directors, officers, employees and agents, from and against any and all losses, expenses, costs, liabilities and

damages (including any legal fee and expenses), any and all injuries, whether direct, consequential or incidental in

nature, which result from, are connected with or arise out of the performance by you of work performed in relation

to this Employee Contract.

SEVERABILITY

If any term, provision, covenant or condition of this Agreement or part thereof, or the application thereof to

any person, place or circumstance, shall be held to be invalid, unenforceable or void, the remainder of this

Employee Contract and such term, provision, covenant, or condition shall remain in full force and effect, and any

such invalid, unenforceable or void term, provision, covenant or condition shall be deemed, without further action

on the part of the parties hereto, modified, amended and limited to the extent necessary to render the same and the

remainder of this Employee Contract valid, enforceable and lawful.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Employee Contract contains the entire agreement and understanding between the parties hereto in

respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes, cancels and annuls any prior or contemporaneous written or

oral agreements, understandings, commitments, and practices between them respecting the subject matter hereof,

including all prior agreements, if any, between CAREducation, LLC and you, which agreement(s) hereby are

terminated and shall be of no further force or effect.

This Employee Contract may only be amended or modified by a writing which makes express reference to

this Employee Contract as the subject of such amendment and which is signed by you and, on behalf of

CAREducation, LLC, by its duly authorized office
