National Sales Manager Philippines

Job Title:

Reporting To: BCI Media Group, COO Asia

Department: Sales

Location: Manila, Philippines.

To take full responsibility and ensure success of the sales operation of BCI
Overall Purpose:
Asia Philippines.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

Sales Management
 Lead the sales operations of BCI Asia – Philippines
 Demonstrate to the team a willingness and ability to sell by achieving allocated personal target
 Work closely with the BCI Asia COO in the strategic direction of sales in BCI Asia – Philippines
 Develop and maintain business plans for the sales department to ensure budgets and growth
targets for Philippines business are achieved.
 Hands-on business development (soliciting international/ key accounts) and revenue growth of
BCI Asia Philippines in the Philippines marketplace
 Lead the day-to-day running of the sales department
 Manage the day-to-day tracking of costs and budgets for the sales department
 Liaise with the BCI Asia COO Emerging Markets and other Sales Managers in developing and
implementing Asia wide growth and business marketing strategies
 Take full management responsibility for all Sales (incl. Account Management) staff in BCI Asia
Philippines
 Ensure that staff are trained, inducted and managed to high levels of performance required for
business success.
 Recruit and train new staff as required
 Performance management of underperforming staff
 Ensure high-performing staff are engaged, receiving ongoing training and development and
offered career pathways within the BCI Media Group
 Ensure all staff are achieving required KPIs
 Develop strategies to engage staff and maintain engagement so turnover is kept low

Reporting:
 Report regularly to the BCI Asia COO
 Attend BCI Media Group & BCI Asia Management Meetings as required
 Collaborate with other BCI Asia Sales Managers/General Managers on reporting for entire region
 Create monthly & annual sales reports for BCI Asia Philippines

Key Performance Indicators

1. Yearly sales targets are achieved


2. BCI Asia experiences positive growth in the Philippine Marketplace
3. Retention of staff is kept at levels commensurate to other organisations in the Philippines

Working Relationships:-

Internal: Philippines Sales Staff, Philippines Country Manager


External: Current Clients, New Business Clients & Other

Qualifications & Experience: (E – Essential; D – Desirable)


Experience in management of a sales team in the Philippines E

Track record of success in business development E

Proven capability of hitting budgets E

Experience in the building and construction sector D

Excellent Communication skills (English and Filipino) E

Degree qualified E
