I. OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson the pupils are expected to:


a. learns about solving routine and non-routine problems in Math.

II. SUBJECT MATTER:

A. Preparatory Activities:
1. Drill Pupils will answer the addition,subtruction
multiplication and division flash cards
2. Motivation Pupils will sing a song entitled with ‘Mathematics
is a little fun’
3. Review: Pupils will recall and the past lessons in Math

arithmetic operations and/or ratio to solve problems
that are practical in nature.
Ex. Sofia had 42 dimes. She gives some to her friend.
Now she has 17dimes. How many did she give to her
friend?
