⑴. Core data
This auto transformer uses three phase five limbs structure of core. The silicon steel
type is 23RK080. The diameter of limb is Φ800mm, the window height is 1960mm, Mo：

2180 mm，Mo’：1310 mm, cross section of limb is 4598.964 cm 2 ,the maximum sheet

width of limb is 780mm, the total weight of core is 54844 kg. The flux density of core is
1.702T, the unit loss is 0.8W/kg.
⑵.No-load loss calculation
◆No-load loss=core weight×unit loss×craft factor K
=54844×0.82×1.12
=50.37 kW

II. For 120MVA 132kV power transformer

of limb：760 mm，the total weight of core：47688 kg. The flux density of core：1.708 T，
unit loss：1.034 W/kg
⑵.No-load loss calculation
◆No-load loss=core weight×unit loss×craft factor K
=47688×1.034×1.12
=55.234 kW
