Findings:
Students have enough preparedness and readiness for earthquake. Their knowledge is
vital for the safety of their families. Almost half of the total number of respondents showed
preparedness to earthquake based on their answers yet some were still unaware of the do’s
and don’ts especially when dealing aftershocks of earthquake. Local government must also be
active in conducting surveys and earthquake drills together with the public schools to
strengthen the preparedness of families in every community.
