Operation-Safety

• The machines may be operated by trained qualified staff only. Please contact us
for more information.
• Read the user’s manual carefully to avoid false operation.
• Maurer-Atmos GmbH does not assume any responsibility for errors of the
licensed software or for damages caused thereof or for damages caused by
untrained staff.
• If foreign matters or liquids penetrate into the cover, the keyboard or the LCD-
screen, disconnect the machine from the power supply and let it have checked
by a qualified expert before you continue working.

Caution !
Inside the control and inside the power supply box there are live terminals.
The machines are to be opened by authorised qualified staff only!

Operation advise for Touch-Screen

The touch surface consists of 2 thin foils which get in contact under pressure.
Do not use sharp objects like a knife to operate the touch. They can cause
permanent damage.

Cleaning advise for Touch-Screen

The touch surface ist quite insensitive against dirt. But for best reading the screen
should be cleaned from time to time. Before cleaning touch the Maurer-Atmos Logo
on the lower right side. This deactivates the buttons and you can clean the screen
without executing any unwanted function.
Only use a soft and moisty duster to clean the touch surface.
For strong dirt use a mild glas cleanser. Never use rough or caustic cleansers.

1 Meaning of the icons on the symbol line

The symbols are shown in the activated state. During idle state the symbols
appear on the LCD-screen in black and white!

Installation is running

Installation is in pause, i.e. the HOLD key has been activated or the
processing program has been stopped by a single step.

In the processing program a single step has been programmed in this

step, i.e. after this step is finished the START key must be pressed.

Horn is active, for example „error“. The error is either shown on the
screen with number and description of the error or by a message after a
single step, or by a message at the end of program. The alarm can be
cleared by pressing CLEAR.

Time control
After the programmed step time has run down, the control switches to the next
step.

Service temperature control

After the programmed service temperature has been reached the control switches
to the next step.

Core temperature control

After the programmed core temperature has been reached the control switches to
the next step.

Delta-Cooking

pH-value control
After the pH-value has dropped below the limit the control switches to the next
step.

The factory setting for password is 123.

3 Operation
The TITAN 2 is operated by the touch screen.
For the miscellaneous functions like Start or Stop are buttons on the screen. By
touching the button the function is executed. Text or numbers are entered by an
onscreen touch-keyboard which appears when necessary.

3.1 Keys for Special Functions

Clr clears the input fied
Bs deletes one character from right
Shift switches to capitals for one character
Caps switches to capitals for more than one character

The upper field explains what has to be entered.
The second field displays the current input.

The main screen displays the main menu and an overview of the houses.
Each line shows the most important informations of one house.

Status, name, program name, program-number, step-number, nominal and actual

values, error message.
