 ABOUT "NASO
National Astronomy & Science Olympiad is a platform that opens the door of limitless
knowledge about the Astronomy and science explorations, for the students of Grade II
to Grade X and also to encourage talented young minds with amazing prizes who
excel in the Olympiad in different programs including workshops, quizzes and many
other informative & innovative sessions handled by eminent personalities in the field of
space science, it’s much about inspiring the young aspirants to dream bigger and to
channel their interests in space science into the right path where they really belong.

? WHY NASO
This Competition is not limited to the confined box of school curriculum. We move beyond
the school curriculum, taking the participants to unexplored fields of knowledge,
providing opportunities to meet the legends in the field of space science, Sponsoring
planetarium shows and much more. NASO is all about learning and gaining knowledge.

National Astronomy & Science Olympiad is one of the highly emerging concepts
among young generation Olympiad. It is one of the unique and innovative platforms that
also serves an opportunity to the students by providing them the exposure to Science &
Astronomy and a lucky chance to visit NASA (Kennedy Space Center, Houston). It is
scientifically designed and practically matured Exam which is divided into Two Rounds.

National Astronomy & Science Olympiad is a venture of Navars Edutech and "Star
quest Planetarium" Which is an ISO 9001:2008 accredited organization.

MODE OF COMPETITION

st F First Round is to Test Ground level & Basic Knowledge of a child in field of Astronomy &
Science, This Round comprises of 50 multiple choice questions with One Hour Time limit.
F Participation certificates and Merit Certificates will be given to all Participated Students.
F Gold medals will be given to Meritorious students.

Grade II to IV will be tested purely in Subject of Class level Science & EVS
and Grades V to X will be tested in the Field of Astronomy & Science.

nd F This Level is to Test Their Research Knowledge, which consists of 25 Research and Theme based
questions with One Hour Time limit.

 EXAMINATION
Eligibility : Students studying in Grades II to X following CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/State Board
Syllabus : Relevant class syllabus.
Subjects : Tests in Science, Astronomy & Modern Science
Pattern : Grade II to Grade IV (Science or Environmental Science with 50MCQ’s in
60 Min) Grade V to Grade X (Science or Astronomy with 50MCQ’s in 60 Min)

 HOW TO APPLY
NASO is organized only through the participating schools. The exam is conducted in the
respective school of the participants during the school hours itself. The “NAVARS EDUTECH” will
register the school and the students . Thereafter, the attendance sheet containing Roll Numbers
of the students will be sent along with Question Papers and Guidelines for conducting the
Examination.
The schools are requested to send the details of the applicants in the prescribed Registration
Form, Along with the Fees well before the last date to the NAVARS EDUTECH, 1-10-28-231/31,
Second Floor, Road No 3, Indranagar Colony, Nagarjuna Nagar, Hyderabad-500062 (Ph.

vide registration form may even be forwarded by mail & Registration form may even be
downloaded from website.
