Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering (SSNCE), an

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Chemical Engineering was started in the
year 2004. An area of 5400 sqm is dedicated to our
department. The Chemical Engineering Department offers
B.Tech degree program in Chemical Engineering and M.Tech
degree program in Environmental Science & Technology and
recognized as a research centre by Anna University, Chennai.
The department has well-established laboratories. The
department promotes research in areas like Abatement of
Water Pollution, Nanotechnology, Green Solvent, Molecular
Modeling, Post Combustion CO2 Capture, Process
Development, Clean Coal Technology, Process Intensification
using Ultrasound, Biomass Utilization, Advanced oxidation
