PRACTICAL RESEARCH ORAL DEFENSE RULING

March 8, 2019

1. Each group will be given of at least 30 minutes as the allotted time for oral presentation and
additional 10 minutes for academic exchange.

2.In the course of academic exchange, if a member or presenter in a group who happened fail to
answer the question given by the panelist/s, he or she shall be replaced by any member of the same
group to take and answer the same question as the case may be.

3. Presenter may be interpellated at any given time by the panelist during his/her presentation if there
is /are uncleared statements, ideas, or anything in the research process that require clear and precise
responds.

4. Presenters are encouraged of not merely reading his /her research report .Paraphrasing is allowed
provided that the substantive parts or contents of the original statements or ideas of the research
report are not compromised.

5. English language must be the medium of the research oral reporting and answering question ,
however, mother tongue may also be used if it is necessary and cannot be avoided.

6. The presenters may also be asked by the process observers/audience if there are quires relative to
their research report.

7. After the presentation and processed questions presenters should quietly vacate and leave the hall
T o give way for the next group presenters.
