Pasolo the barangay was named after “sulo” a torch used by the katipuneros during the revolution. The
barangay was divided into two areas stemming from a ancient- old dispute.
Because of this division, resident celebrate two different fiestas in honor of their patron saint, sta. Cruz.
The first is celebrated every first Sunday of May at the Sta. Cruz church.
Both chapels are known landmarks in the area including the pasolo elementary school.
Mission
In the pursuance of its vision, the barangay shall establish a solid leadership foundation with a political will
of implementing existing law and ordinance. It will be a Barangay that consult before it acts, study before
it decides and will always conform to the virtue of leadership by example.
Vision
Barangay Pasolo envisions an orderly disciplined and peaceful community with a proactive environment
and morally upright resident govern by a dynamic, transparent,knowledge and social conscious barangay
government.

December 4, 2018 Tuesday 6 am Type A uniform venue Galleria building Malinta but after the instruction
we go to the Barangay Pasolo 1st day we start to barangay and introduce yourself one by one after that we
deploy to our respective position our Platoon Leader orient us about the job that we will do. We help the
ex-officio and other employees and the people who enter the barangay hall we also help carry soil, washing
machine and wood we also help to sticker the school supplies of the children grade 1 and 3.
December 5, 2018 Wednesday 8 am call time tactical and white t-shirt 2nd day to barangay Pasolo we form
and deploy us from the different post with body we help to carry the boat of barangay after that me and my
body go to our respective post we go to try the boat with our Platoon leader and 2 elements after that we
form and dismissed at the time of 5 pm.
December 6, 2018 Thursday 8 am call time tactical and white t-shirt venue barangay pasolo 3rd day we
start to push the tricycle and clean the backyard after that we carry all woods and put to the truck after that
the barangay captain ask for help to make a belen and we start to carry the usable wood from the truck to
create a house of the belen and we plan how to make the Christmas tree and the house of belen.
December 7, 2018 Friday 8 am call time venue barangay pasolo 4th day we continue to create the house of
belen and christmas decoration we plan that our theme is recyclable material on the Christmas tree we
finished the house of belen time 3pm we form and make some fo clarification about the issue of going to
the school we also go boating and carry some school supplies to go school after that we form and go home.

Dalandanan is one of the highly developed barangays in Valenzuela, Metro Manila, Philippines. The name
sake of Brgy. Dalandanan came from the impressive line of dalandan trees that used to distinguish the area.
Dalandanan houses the new Valenzuela City Astrodome, Valenzuela Emergency Hospital and Dialysis
Center, and Valenzuela City Science High School.
The barangay have 3 public educational facilities for elementary, and high school

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED
Barangay Pasolo
The problem that I observed is they didn’t entertain us and we were just sitting around and doing
nothing. They are lack of activities and academic teaching about the rule of the barangay to the society.
Valenzuela City Jail
Insufficient space for the formation of interns and visitors while in the lane crowded during visiting
hours which is very risky moment during our internship. Also, I observe that there is only a single officer
in the searching unit which insufficient for the volume of visitor that will be entering the Jail. They must
also improve their jail mobiles for the benefits of transferring the inmates into another place.
Valenzuela City Central Fire Station
In this agency, I wasn’t also contented with the activities that we’ve done here the officers were
lacking when it comes to the activities that the must share and discuss to us, But when it comes to the
academic teaching, we really learned a lot here in this agency.
Malabon City Central Fire Station
I observed that the facilities are to old enough. But when it comes to the activities is a lot of things
that we learn.
During my internship, I observed that being assigned in this agency was quite lame. We did only
few things in this agency and some of the officers were lacking when it comes on entertaining their on the
job training students, I also observed the boastfulness of some of the policemen during my internship here
in this agency.

RECOMMENDATION
Barangay Pasolo
In my own opinion our handler must prepare for the academic lecture about the effect of barangay
in the community and must provide a daily activity so the interns learn more about barangay works.
Valenzuela City Jail
My recommendation for this site is they must improve their mobile trucks for the transferring of
the inmates and also they must avoid too much trusting the inmates to about them from escaping. They
must also develop more activities for the inmates.
Valenzuela City Central Fire Station
My recommendation for this site is that they must also prepare more activities for the intern
Student to avoid the wasting of time.
Malabon City Central Fire Station
My recommendation for this site although their good in academics and activity their facilities is
to old and need to reconstruct.
My recommendation for this site is there must be some prepared activities for the intern students
from the beginning of their deployment until the end because in my experience, we experience a lot of
lacking of activities. Also generally for the whole PNP Organization, there must be a religious related
seminars for the Police Officers to clean up their minds and avoid some bad attitudes like boastfulness to
the Intern Students.
