GPT-9000 Series – with FC-200 using Bluetooth

On GPT:

1) Switch on GPT
2) Double Tap on Standard Meas
3) Tap on Set up
4) Tap on Communication
5) Tap on Common Parameter
6) Tap on  next to REC Key Data Out and select Bluetooth
7) Tap on Set
8) Tap on Bluetooth
9) Select Bluetooth CR.LF = ON
10) Tap on Set
11) Tap on Exit
12) Tap on Exit
13) Tap on Prog
14) Tap on Exit. Link then on Setting
15) Tap on Bluetooth
16) Check the following Settings
Bluetooth = Enable
Rec. Type = REC – A
Terminate = ETX + CR + LF
17) Tap on Set
18) Tap on Execute

On FC-200:

1) Double Tap on TopSurv

2) Create a New Job or open an existing Job
3) Tap on Configure
4) Tap on Survey
5) Under TS Config choose My Robotic and tap button with three dots
6) Tap on Edit
7) Name = My Robotic
Type = Robotic
8) Tap on Next
9) Manufacturer = Topcon
Model = GPT-9000A
10) Tap Next
11) Initial Ts Connection = Bluetooth TS
Optical = None (If not used as a one man Total Station)
12) Tap Next

Auto Topo – Method = By Time / Interval = 1 Sec
22) Tap Next
23) Enter user-defined parameters. Default =
Hz Dist Tolerance = 0,050m
Reference Direction = Instrument Reference
Turn TS to Desired Pt = Automatic HA only
24) Tap Next
25) Select user defined parameters and Tap Next
26) Select user defined parameters and Tap Finish
27) Tap OK
28) Under Bluetooth devices screen, tap on Find
29) Tap on GPT-9000A and then tap Select
30) Wait for a sound confirming Bluetooth connection
31) Select Set-up
32) Select Backsight
33) Enter you Occupied Station and your Backsight point
34) Sight you BS and tap on HC Set
35) Close BS Survey Window
36) Select Survey and then Tap

37) Enter Point Name and then Sight Target
38) Once distance is measured tap Accept
39) For setting out Select Stake Out and then Point
40) Select Point to stake the top Stake Out
41) TS will turn to direction and measure distance
42) Once correct tap on Store
