Dream Big and Hold it Strong untill the Success

Assalamualaikum wr.wb
First of all, lets say our praise and gratitude to God the One and Almighty due to His illimitable
grace and blessing upon all of us so that on this good occasion we all can gather up in the best
condition of our health.

To the honorable teachers, and to all the priding students of SMK Chalok,
I wish all of us stay in high-spirited condition to become success people in the future. Hopefully
this bright day could be a sign of starting point for our lives that will be getting brighter.

Aamiin.
To all my beloved students of SMK Chalok,
All of you are people who will be success in the future days. This is all we wish as your parents at
school. It will be our pride by seeing you become success people.

The first step to achieve the success is that you must have dreams. Dream big and high! As high as
possible and keep all of your dreams steady even though the storm and hurricane are raging! Let
your dreams stay fluttering above the sky stoutly just like this red-white flag.

If you havent had any dream yet, then it is the time. What will you become in 5 years from now?
What do you want to have at age 30? Decide your dream from now. Plan on your dream in good
and right ways! Let your dreams enslave you until all of the dreams come true.

Open your eyes, my students, let me emphasize the thing once more to you all that having dream
is a sign of person who lives and holds the hope. His or her life will be impassioned and kept away
from any kind of illness and pressure.

You can open the stories of great people. Then you will find that their success and achievements
that made their names written in the history of a life time was all begun from a dream. Just look at
Rabindranath Tagore, Marcopolo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Isaac Newton, and other hundreds of great
people. They all started out from a dream.

For that reason, this is your time to build your dreams. What you want in life and then it is the
time to dream. Your age is golden age, so do not waste that away.
That is the end of my speech. I wish my words could bring good things for all of us. I say my
apology for my mistakes on my words. Thank you for the attention.

First of all, let us praise to the Almighty Allah SWT, because of His Blessing we are
able to attend this English speech contest. Secondly, may peace be upon the prophet
Muhammad Saw who has guided us from the darkness into the brightness.
I would also like to say many thanks to the juries and MC who have given me
opportunity to deliver an English speech in front of you all.

Ladies and Gentlemen…

The topic of my speech is "How to Face Globalization Era".

As we all know, nowadays our world is in globalization era. We often hear it.
Globalization is the process of transformation of local or regional phenomena into
global or international phenomena. This process is a combination of economic, technological,
sociocultural and political forces. In other words, every country in this world can influence other
countries.

Because of globalization, this world which consists of many countries is like "a global village".
This term refers to the fact that people are considered to live in this planet without borders,
without limitation. People are able to access any kinds of information easily. There is no difficulty
to communicate, there is no barrier to interact with other people from all over the world.

Globalization has various aspects which affect the world, such as: in industry,
finance, economy, politics, technology, and socio-culture. If our country wants to
survive in this globalization era, we must be smart people. We should take all of the positive
effects of globalization and we should not take the negative effects. For
example: we need to adopt and learn high technology from developed country in
order to develop our country. On the contrary, we must not imitate bad attitudes or
behaviors from other countries like free sex and drugs abuse.

Ladies and Gentlemen…

It is a fact that there are many challenges in globalization era. It cannot be denied that
globalization is related with competition and the ability to survive. The question is: what should
we do in order to face the globalization era?
The first one is, build up and strengthen good characters based on the religion. If we are Moslem,
the guide of our lives is Islam. Second, we must master technology in
order to develop our country. The last, always be ready to face any kinds of change
and competition by preparing and upgrading our skills.

Thats all my speech. Hopefully, it will be useful for all of us. Thank you very much for your

Good afternoon,

First of all, I would like to express gratitude to God because I am able to be present with a full of
health on the commemoration of environment day. I would also like to thank to the audience who
have given me the opportunity to speak on this pulpit.

The environment is the thing that is very important for mankind and should be taken care well.
Our country is very rich. Since the ancient times, Indonesian forest has become the world’s lungs
and is the foundation of the existing ecological balance in the world. When developed countries
produce the fumes because of their industry, our country clean the pollution up with the green
forests that exist in many areas.

However, now we have to take action to save our forests. Lungs of the world that we have are
being lost because of illegal logging and fires. If those deforestations are still continuing, it will
not be impossible if we lose ours and the global warming continues to increase.

When forests are being weakened, I believe that we can no longer feel the fresh air and the cool
breeze during a day. Our country will turn into a hot country and so painful. Weather changes
which are present in this country cannot be predicted and the dry season comes longer than before.
Are we willing to Indonesia when its forest loss and become like that? Of course not.

Through this speech, I want to assure you that we are able to preserve the forests and natural
wealth to our children in the future. We are able to make Indonesia always be the lungs of the
world which are highly admired by any nation. Indonesia’s forests is a very valuable asset.

To protect the environment, we can start from the smallest things such as planting trees around the
house. When every person in Indonesia plants a tree in the backyard, this country will have a very
good environment in the next five years. The fresh air and the rivers flowing can certainly be easy
to see and Indonesia will never lose its best environment.

Train yourself and teach your children to love the environment. Do not let them to be more
attracted to the video games in the air conditioned room rather than planting the trees in the
garden. Make them love the nature by getting them to do camping, gardening, and do outbound as
often as possible. When they know their nature, then they would love nature as they love
themselves.

I do not want people to lose their consciousness to preserve Indonesia. Let us keep and preserve
our forests from now.

Have you ever seen the students smoke? Have you ever seen the students truant? Have you ever
seen the students brawl? And have you ever heard of the students that involved in free sex?

I think all will be say "yes". This means that moral attitudes of Malaysian teenagers have turned
away from the values and norms of the real the real Malaysia. Everyone involved in those bad
things are students, the young people who should have the best ethics because they have been
educated through educational institutions.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Why are all the things happen? Before you answer it, I want to express an opinion. In Malaysia, I
see the demand of academic value is so high. When the students get the higher score, parents,
teachers, and all those around the will be more proud of these achievements. It makes us all forget
a really important thing, the moral education.

Students continue to be encouraged for studying hard, but they are not given the opportunity to
build a social life, emotional intelligence, and spiritual. Every day, students are only given
Mathematics, Science, Language education, Physics, and Chemistry. All of those must be learned
and memorized.

Because of too much academic material, students do not get a portion of moral education. As a
result, they are easily tempted to commit immoral acts and even criminality. They understand that
the most important is the score at the end of the test, but not includes attitudes in society.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Of course, we all very disappointed to see the moral of Malaysian students who are increasingly
low and are at the destruction. This should not be allowed to continue and must be addressed
properly. It requires the cooperation of all human parents, educators, and government in order to
create the moral intelligence decreases.

Let us create a learning system that is accompanied by moral exhortation, good behavior, and a
discipline that makes students not only have a high score, but also a good morality.

Do not give up, keep fighting, and be the noble of education.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

There is little doubt that the planet is warming. Over the last century, the planets temperature has
risen by around 1 degree fahrenheit (0.6 of a degree celsius). The warmest since the mid 1800s
was the 1990s. The hottest years recorded were 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003.

The United Nations panel on climate change projects that the global temperatures will rise 3-10
degrees fahrenheit by the centurys end – enough to have the polar caps all but melted. If the ice
caps melt, a vast majority of our countries borders will be under water. Monuments and great
buildings, as well as homes and lives will be under water, including New York City.

So now we know what some of the causes are for global warming, how can we as individuals do
our part to help save the planet?

The answer is simpler than you may think. You dont have to go miles away from home to protest,
or spend masses of money. If you try to follow the few simple steps that I shall now give you, you
will have started to help us all.

Firstly, plant a tree. This could be easier than it sounds. Join or help out a local wildlife group and
ask to plant a tree. Trees, when fully grown, will help keep the planet cooler. On the same point,
you could protest against the demolition of the rainforests. This is the same principle, we need the
trees to cool our planet and yet they are chopping them down to create roads or homes.

Something as simple as walking instead of taking the car will help reduce pollution. As well as
stopping pollution, you are giving yourself exercise, something important for our bodies. So the
next time you get into your car, or your motorbike, think – do I have to make this journey by
vehicle or can I walk?

When you are at home, and your getting a little cold. Put a jumper on and do not adjust the
heating. The extra heat produced by our homes also affects the planet. So try wearing an extra
layer in winter.

If possible, buy your fruit and vegetables from local suppliers. And try to avoid imported goods.
The more foreign food that we import the more pollution from aeroplanes and boats it will create.

Keeping to the speed limit can also help the environment. The more you speed the more petrol you
are going to use, making the pollution higher. Also, SUVs make about six times their own weight
in CO2 each year. A small efficient diesel car covering the same distance not only uses much less
fuel; it makes two thirds less.

If possible use solar energy, after all it is free; all you need to buy is the equipment. You can get
much of your hot water and heating from the sun and even generate electricity.

Reduce, reuse and recycle. Only buy what you need; dont stock the cupboards with things you
may or may not use. Reuse whatever you can, like containers and paper, and recycle what you
cannot reuse. It really is as simple as that.

Finally turning off unused sources of power such as televisions and heaters will help the
environment, as well as save you money.

If everybody stuck to these rules, we would be doing a great thing by protecting the earth. So
please take into consideration what I have said, and try to do your part. After all, it will be our next
generation that will feel the effects.

On this happy morning, let us reflect and pray together for a moment, hopefully we are up this
morning still blessed with happines by God the Almighty, given the power to give thanks always.
And let us prove to keep running and stay away from the obligation imposed by Allah the Lord is
the Most Just.

Well, today, in this very special moment, let me stand here to deliver a speech about Internet
Effect for Our Life.

As we know, nowadays, Internet is very important for us. But, actually, what is the meaning of
Internet ? The Internet is combined worldwide network of computers that form a global
information network system. The history of Internet started in 1969 when Defense Advance
Research Projects Agency (DAPRA) decided to conduct research on how to connect a number of
computer. Actually, Internet originally used in military and university. But now, general public
around the world can enjoy, or access them very easily. The number of Internet users in one
country can be the size of the country’s technological progress.

People are always hanging out around the world with its luxury world of tech, luxury, and
practical, the Internet can be found wherever we are. Or if not, in every corner of the city must
have a stall that sells Internet services or commonly called a cafe. Information World without
Borders, that’s how people call it. With the Internet, access to delivery information in the world
can be retrieved easily while turning the hand or eye blink.
