EDUCATION M.A., Astronomy, Indiana University August 2020

Thesis Title (Tentative):
Abundances as a Function of Density and Redshift
Advisor: Dr. John J. Salzer

B.S., Astronomy, Physics, Mathematics, Indiana University May 2019

Honors Thesis Title: A Recipe for Green Pea Environments
Advisor: Dr. John J. Salzer

RESEARCH Research Assistant, Indiana University 2019 - Present

EXPERIENCE Advisor: Dr. John J. Salzer
Analyzing the relationship between abundance, density, and redshift
of a large sample of emission-line galaxies over a 30 degree field and a
z between .1 and .5.

Research Assistant, Indiana University 2018 - 2019

Advisor: Dr. John J. Salzer
Reducing and analyzing spectroscopic images taken by WIYN3.5m
Hydra in Image Reduction and Analysis Facility (IRAF). Measured
800 - 960 new spectroscopic redshifts of galaxies using cross-correlation
method and Wrapped Automated Line Fitting (WRALF). Part of
a larger project analyzing if the galactic environment is the driving
mechanism behind the extreme star formation rate of galaxies known
as the Green Peas.

NSF REU Student, Ohio Wesleyan University Summer 2018

Advisor: Dr. Robert Harmon
Acquiring, reducing and analyzing data to produce light curves of a
variable star, LO Pegasi, in order to map its starspots to a 2D model
utilizing a state of the art program designed by Dr. Robert Har-
mon. Typically called the Light-Curve Inversion technique. American
Physical Society poster presentation in April 2019.

Research Assistant, Indiana University Summer 2017

Advisor: Dr. Katherine Rhode
Mastering Python scripting and working in IRAF with ds9 analyzing
globular cluster candidates. Part of a larger project working with
globular clusters and how they relate to galaxy evolution.
