3. Campos de conocimiento en los que podría ser anunciado (máximo dos): Ética y
Filosofía Política
Objetivo general:
El objetivo general del curso es explorar varios temas relacionados con la autonomía y el
adoctrinamiento, desde un punto de vista tanto filosófico como psicológico. Leeremos
textos recientes de filósofos y psicólogos sobre temas relacionados con el desarrollo de la
autonomía y diferentes tipos de adoctrinamiento, incluyendo literatura psicológica que
ayuda a entender cómo puede funcionar el adoctrinamiento, y literatura filosófica que
ilumina la cuestión de por qué es malo y moralmente reprochable privar a alguien de
autonomía adoctrinándolo.
Objetivos particulares:
Los estudiantes leerán, discutirán y analizarán textos filosóficos y psicológicos sobre la
autonomía y el adoctrinamiento, y escribirán dos ensayos filosóficos sobre los textos que
elijan.

30%: Ensayo corto (1200-1500 palabras) sobre material de cualquier tema del
curso. (Se debe tratar substancialmente al menos uno de los textos obligatorios u
opcionales que vayamos a leer en el curso.)
50%: Ensayo largo (3000-6000 palabras) sobre cualquier tema del curso. (Se debe
tratar substancialmente al menos una de las lecturas obligatorias u opcionales.) El
ensayo largo puede, pero no tiene por qué, ser un desarrollo del ensayo corto.
