CONTENT STANDARD
The learners demonstrate an understanding of:
The use of advanced tools and techniques found in common productivity and software
applications in developing ICT content for specific professional tracks.
PERFORMANCE STANDARD
The learners shall be able to:
At the end of the 2-week period independently apply advanced productivity tools to
create or develop ICT content for use in specific professional tracks. These may be in the form
of, but not limited to:
1. Calculating spread sheet of athletic statistics (Sports)
2. Layout of catalogue of creative works (Arts)
3. Materials/ ingredients projections for batches of baked goods (Tech- Voc)
4. Letterhead/ business card design (Business/Academic)

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to:
 Uses common productivity tools effectively by maximizing advanced application
techniques. (CS_ICT11/12-ICTPT-Ic-d-4)
 Creates an original or derivative ICT content to effectively communicate or present data
or information related to specific professional tracks. (CS_ICT11/12-ICTPT-Ic-d-5)

Mail Merge
-It is a feature from Microsoft products that aims to send messages from a certain
recipient.
 Motivation
(The teacher will conduct a preparatory activity for the new lesson with concern to a
short interview assuming that the students are about to apply a job using an application
letter)
 Lesson Proper
(The teacher will discuss the process on how to start mail merging.)
 Post Discussion
(The teacher will post a flow chart that pertains to the process of mail merging and the
students should fill in the flow chart using the process.)
 Generalization
(The teacher will ask a question that generates the ideas of the students to the lesson.)

IV. EVALUATION
(The teacher will assess the knowledge of the students using differentiated activities.)
1. Make a letter of permission in accordance to the upcoming immersion of the SHS
students in your school, use the process of mail merge. (Assisted by hands on computer)
2. Using flow chart, write the steps on how to start mail merge.(Assisted by hands on
computer)
3. Make a demonstrative speech that tells the process of mail merge.

1. Make a research about custom animation and timing.
