The researcher aims to determine the impact of no homework policy towards the

academic performance of Grade 10 learners in Mathematics at SJCR.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of

1.1 sex

1.2 previous grades in Math.

2. What are the impacts of no homework policy towards the academic performance of

grade 10 learners in Mathematics?

3. Is there a significant difference between the impacts of no homework policy towards

the academic performance of grade 10 learners in Mathematics and the profile of the

respondents?
The selection of the respondents was done based from the title, and it is also based

from the standards of systematic sampling technique that was used by the researchers.

The utility of the survey questionnaire was systematically followed for data collection,

evaluation, and analysis.

A total of 46 students from grade ten learners in St. Joseph’s College of Rodriguez.

After the evaluation, the researchers have analysed and interpreted the data that have

resulted from objective findings. The researchers have calculated the means and reached

an average of 3.48 with a verbal interpretation of agree..

Base on the findings derived from this study,

1. Most of the respondents were agreed to the no homework policy.

2. The respondents, grade ten learners were agree from the no homework policy to

have more free time to rest. To have more time to do household chores. To have more

time to do outdoor activities. To have more time to bond with family, friends. And the

most important is, to have more time in studying.

effects of no homework policy.

could make us tardy, could make us addicted to online games, and could bring lack of

time management or difficulty in time management.

5. There will be slow learning, and there wil be no more source of knowledge were

interpreted by the respondents as neutral.

6. There is a significance difference between the impacts of no homework policy

towards academic performance of grade ten learners in mathematics.

7. The recommendations offered by the researchers was used the time properly.
