Important Dates Dear Families,

August We can’t express how excited we are to welcome your


family to the 2019-20 school year. We have spent the
Tuesday/27 summer preparing for the arrival of your child. Both
Popsicles on the Playground Bryant and Pattengill have undergone some exciting
4-6pm/ Bryant Playground physical improvements. Both buildings now boast an
updated entry hall and the addition of a collaboration
space. At Bryant, you will also notice our new covered
entryway, the addition of several skylights and new
acoustic panels in the gym. At Pattengill we have
added padding to the gym walls, and brightened the
September cafeteria and media center with fresh paint.

Pattengill Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures


Parents may drop off and pick-up students using the circular drive in the
Pattengill parking lot. The Ridge Road drop off area is reserved for buses.

When picking up or dropping off, please pull forward to the orange cone.
For safety reasons, your child (ren) must exit the car at the curb. Further,
children may only walk or cross the parking lot if accompanied by an adult.

Pattengill Morning Line Up Procedures for Students


When students enter the building, they are expected to do the following:
● If the child is having breakfast at school,
○ Go immediately to the cafeteria
**Please note that students who do not go to breakfast immediately upon arrival
may not have the opportunity to get breakfast.
○ Eat -Breakfast trays may not be carried back to classrooms.
○ Clean up
○ Return to line up area

○ 4th Grade - Front Hall/A wing
○ 5th Grade - Gym
Look for signs with the teacher’s name. We will have
plenty of adults present to help students find their way.

Bryant Drop off/Pick Up Procedures


Before School

Option 1: Wait inside the lobby with your child

Option 2: Drop your child off in the parent drop-off lane.


o Beginning at 8:40 a.m., staff will be located around the
drop off lane to assist student(s) in exiting the cars.

Afterschool

Option 1: Stay in your car for drop off & pick up.
o A staff member will help load your student(s) along the side entrance. (green
line on map).

Option 2: Walk in to pick up your child.


o Please wait inside the gym, along the entry wall (see the yellow line on the
map).
o If you arrive early for pick up, please wait in the lobby until the bell
rings and then enter the gym to wait for your student(s).
