Ground Rules in Badminton

 A match can be played with either 1 or 2 players per each team


(singles & doubles)
 The player in singles are not allowed to play in doubles.
 Each game will start with a toss coin to decide which player will
serve first.
 5 minutes late default.
 Only in the line up would play the game. No Proxy!
 The player should be in their proper uniform according to their
team color. No uniform, No Play
 Match would be 1 set with 35 points. Change court in 18 points.
 Semi Finals and Finals would be best of three. In the third game,
players change ends when the leading score reaches 11 points
 The game will be in double Elimination
 Each side can strike the shuttlecock only once before it passes
over the net.
 The shuttlecock hitting the ceiling is counted as a fault.
 Referee’s decision will be final and not changeable.
Ground Rules in Volleyball

 All games shall be played according to “current” 2018 FIVB rules


unless otherwise provided for in these ground rules.
 A team consist of 12 players who are eligible to play. The
committee shall provide the entry form for the teams who wish to
participate in the event.
 Each game will start with a toss coin to decide which player will
serve first.
 The ball hitting the ceiling is counted as a fault.
 5 minutes late default
 Only in the line-up would play the game. No Proxy!
 Each participating team must be in their proper uniform according
to their team color. No uniform, No play.
 The game format will be Double elimination
 Best of 3 sets will be played and each set is 15 points.
Ground Rules in Table Tennis

 The winner of a game is the first to 11 points.


 A player takes two serves before the ball switches to the
opponent to serve
 Service must be diagonal, from the right half court (marked by a
white line) to the opponent’s right half court.
 In doubles, you should alternate hitting the ball with your partner.
So, for example, A1 serves the ball to B1, who returns the ball. A2
then hits the ball and B2 returns this. A1 hits and B2 returns, A2
hits and B1 returns….and so on.
 The ball must first bounce on your side and then in your
opponents. Your opponent must allow the ball to hit their side of
the table before trying to return this.
 The ball must pass cleanly over the net – if it ‘clips’ the net and
goes over, it is a ‘let’ and the serve is retaken. If it hits the net and
doesn’t go over, the point goes to the other player/team. There
are no second serves.

Ground Rules in Basketball

 Each team consists of 12 players


 Players are randomly picked
 Each player must be present in the playing venue 30 mins. before
the scheduled game.
 Players are obligated to bring the following:
 Refreshments
 Towel
 Proper attire
 Extra shirt
 Wearing Proper sporting attire are strictly enforced. Players must
wear the ff.:
 Color coded T-shirt
 Jersey Shorts
 Proper basketball shoes
(NOTE: Wearing pants, Leather Shoes, Wrong colored uniforms
are STRICTLY PROHIBITED)
 FIBA Rules will be followed
 Each game consists of 2 quarter with 10 minutes running time
 Failure the present at least 5 players 5 mins. after scheduled game
will result to forfeiture
 Only the players in the line up can play for participating teams
 No swapping/trading of players are allowed
 Unsportsmanlike conducting will immediately be ejected from the
game and playing the venue
 The tournament will be a Double Elimination format.
