 Everybody would love to live a life where they can do
what they want to do, whenever they want to do it and
do it from anywhere in the world. People want to have
freedom! And these days that is possible! This kind of
life does not come automaticaly, but I will show you
how you can create that life!

When I was young, and there was
no internet yet my parents bought
all the stuff they wanted in stores.
They went to the mall or a big
store some place and bought what
they needed. We did not go to the
website of the store or order stuff
in a webshop. We went to places
and bought what we needed. That
was just the way how it worked.
And why did my parents bought
all those things? Toys for the
kids, clothes for the kids and
themselves, videotapes, a new
table. Why? Because those things
had value for them. They knew
that when the kids would have no
toys it was hard for them to play
the whole day.
If they bought no table then it was
hard for us all to eat in a decent
way. They bought hings because
those things brought them value.
And that is how it has always been! willing to pay money for it.
Centuries ago people exchanged
silver coins for bread, fish,
groceries, drinks. It has always
been that way. People exchange
money for value.
The economy is:

Think about it. What did you buy
the latest months? And why did
you buy it? What gave it back to
you? I buy icecream because it
tastes great! That taste is valuable
for me in such an extend that I am
A while ago me ad my wife
booked a vacation through an
vacation agency. They took care
of everything for us! They booked
our ticket, our hotel. They even
took care of the bustrip from the
airport to our hotel. The only thing
we had to do is fill in our personal
information so they could book
everything. I paid them money
in exchange for value. I probably
paid more then when I booked the
hotel, ticket and bus by myself, but
I was willing to pay extra to the
vacation agency because they took
all those cares away from me.
So the whole economy can be
summed up in this: ‘People bring
value to the marketplace in
exchange for money‘.

A whole new era
But the last 20 years a lot has
changed! In 1998 I went online for
the first time. My brother told me
what internet was. I could search
for my favourite soccer player and
for walktroughs from Mario 64 and
Zelda. I loved the internet! It was
amazing!
At that time I bought Fifa 99. A
soccergame for the PC. I thought:
‘Wow! They make the game 1 time
and duplicate it numerous times
and get $ 49.- per CD that they sell.
How would it be if I created a CD
with a value of $ 19.50 and sold it
100 times! The cost would be $ 0,50
per CD. I could make a lot of profit!‘
Now 20 years later we are living
in a time where we not only sell
tangeble stuff, but people are
willing to buy information! Even
better: Digital information! People
are willing to pay $ 200.- per month
to have access to a digital course
and a community where people
communicate throught a forum.
You don’t even need a CD anymore
to send to an address. Everything
can be done online. But not only
that. Everything can be done
automatically!!

Are you willing to get your hands dirty?
As I said before. This is not a ‘get rich quick‘ method. Although
things can work out quickly and you could earn your first
dollar within weeks, you have to work hard an persevere in
order to reap the benefits later. And that is why I can’t tell you
enough that you need to have a (big) passion for what you are
doing.
When I started with
WordpressKing I just thought
about creating value for other
people. I thought: ‘I don’t want to
think about money. I want to give
the best of my knowlegde (value)
about Wordpress and share it for
free with the world! Lets see what
happens!’ Well, not much! I did not
get a lot of views while the course
(in my opinion) was amazing! An
internet noob could learn how
to create a beautiful websites
through a 3 hour course where I
showed step by step how I did it!
So what did I do? Quit? No! I
created a second video! I thought:
‘What are things within Wordpress
that I find hard to do? Let make
a tutorial about that!‘ So I started
making more 5 minute video’s
where I explained how to get an
email address. How to create a
contact form etc.
And all of a sudden my video
got ranked in Youtube and I
started to get 200 views per day.
And then 500 views per day!
That was amazing to see! I saw
an oppurtunity to become a
bigger player in the Wordpress
industry! So I started making more
video’s, adding more value to the
marketplace and yes, I started to
earn money! How?
When I tought people about
webhosting and Wordpress
themes I used Affiliate links. So
when people bought a product
or service through my link I got a
commission! After a few months
I got my first $ 1000.-. Why?
Probably because I was not fixed
on making money, but on adding
value to other peoples lives and
doing what I love to do. Teaching
other people and making websites
in Wordpress! That made me
persevering when there were
no results! It is amazing to wake
up and see a few reactions like:
‘Thank you Ferdy! You are a life
saver! Thanks to you I was able
to make a website about my local
store.‘
And what can we trace back from
this story? When you offer value
people are willing to pay!

How to persevere?
If you want to persevere
in an online business than
you need to make a plan!
Write it on paper or on your
computer. Ask yourself the
following questions.
1. What will your outcome
of your online business be.
How does it look like when
it it finished?
2. What are all the steps
that I need to take in order
to execute my plan? Be
specific. Don’t say ‘Make an
online course‘. Try to make
the steps as detailed as
possible.
3. Start acting upon your
plan. Probably this eBook
can help you!
4. Imagine how you life
will be when you have
accomplished your plan
and you can work from
anywhere in the world,
whenever you want to, and
as much as you want to!
To a certain degree I believe
that it is good to think
about how great your life
could be when you have the
ability to help other people
and not be withold by
financial lack!
Maybe you are willing to
become an online entrepreneur
or to make money on the
internet. Who doesnt like that?
But what I you have no idea
in what area you could make
money? I come accross a lot of
people that don’t know what
they would love to do in life.
When I meet those people I like
to ask them a few questions that
make them think about what
they like to do in life. I want to
ask you the same questions.
Questions that will help you
to determine on what area
you could make money on the
internet.
1. When it comes to activities.
What makes you happy?
What are things in life you can do
that make you happy? Take some
time to write a few answers down
on paper. Keep on writing down
answers for at least 3 minutes.
My answers are:
Making video’s.
Photography.
Making websites.
Public speaking.
Helping other people to learn what
I know.
Learning things about Internet
Marketing.
Hanging out with friends.
Traveling.
What could I do having this
information?
I could teach people how to make
video’s, how to make photo’s,
how to speak in public, how to be
found better in Google, get more
sales etc. I could make a website
with advise on activities that you
can do with friends. I could film
and photograph all my travels and
blog or vlog about them.
2. What are your frustrations
around the answers of question
1.
Again, take a few minutes to think
about frustrations around the
answers you have written down
at question 1. There is a huge
possibility that you are not the
only one that has that frustration.
My frustrations:
How to use the best manual
settings with a DSLR camera.
What is the best way to focus with
shallow depth of field.
How to deal with nerves when
speaking in front of a crowd.
How to make a complete website
and optimize it for Google.
What could I do having this
information? I could make
a solution to this problem/

focussing.

3. So combining things
that make you happy with
frustrations around the things
that make you happy could be a

niche where you can be of value
to other people. And it will be
something that you like to do
and where people are searching
for.
4. Final question: Would you
work on this niche even if you
would not make any money
with it?
Would you also do
it without making
money with it?
If your answer is YES, than you
have found your niche! Maybe
there is a lot of competition for
your niche. But remember:
Passion
will kill
competition!
I am in a very competitive niche.
How to make money on the
internet. But I love doing this! So I
know I will prevail!

have a passion for makin websites
and teaching people and I was
willing to do it without even
making money. And now I can love
from it!
