Community Bible Church Prayer Update for October, 2019

“…having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of
faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us
consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves
together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the
Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:21-25.

FISHKILL: Eric is preparing to go to the Board in November. Please keep him in prayer. Carmen,
Eric’s Mother, is finally in her new apartment, Praise the Lord!
WENDE: Zebadiah is in Wende Correctional Facility, which is on the west side of New York State—
far from family. Please pray for Zeb’s transition and for his wife, Michelle and son, Tyrek, who is in
college.
PRAY FOR THOSE IN SOCIETY, for good health, job opportunities, and a close walk with the Lord
that honors Him:
Cameron Bailey and John Bryant. Joel Jiminez, Nigel Lawrence, Enrico Shabani and wife
Dominique.
Johnny Hincapie and the immigration process to bring Marcela and their daughter Isabela to the
United States soon.
Roger Porcelli is excelling in his college program and has been accepted for an Internship. Please
keep him in prayer.
Anthony Ross and his wife Saori and their two children, who are now back in school.

George and Amie Chochos have moved to
Alexandria, VA. Pray for Amie’s health. George
said he has moved “From Jail to Yale to
Georgetown,” where he is working on Criminal
Justice. In September, 2019, George gave a
lecture “The Will to Dream in a Nightmare” as
a part
of The Faith in Life Forum at Harvard’s Memorial
Chapel. (See the picture below of George in the

Peter Odenthal met Anne at Louis Engel Park
on Sunday, September 22, where we enjoyed a
performance of “The Wait Room,” dedicated to
the families and visitors of inmates and
describing their experiences as they register
and wait for a visit with their loved ones. This
benefit for the Sing Sing Prison Museum
poignantly captured our Wait Room
experiences. Jerry Faiella has been very
instrumental in facilitating the development of
the Sing Sing Prison Museum project. Following
the show, Peter joined Anne at The Patio for
dinner. (See picture below.)
