2019 Hempstead Men’s Cross Country Dinner and Awards Banquet

It is nearing the end of our season and it's time to plan for the traditional
banquet. Runners, if your parents cannot attend feel free to invite an
adult relative or friend. It will be a wonderful time to celebrate our team;
after the meal the coaches will conduct an awards program. We will have
a special head table with reserved seating to celebrate our seniors.
This year’s banquet will take place at the Best Western Plus at 3100
Dodge Street on Thursday, November 7th. You may arrive at 6:00 to
socialize and dinner will be served at approximately 6:15 p.m. The menu includes a two-entrée buffet,
potatoes, two vegetables, dinner rolls, tossed salad, pasta salad, and coleslaw. Served with coffee, iced tea,
or ice water. Cake will also be served. The cost per person will be $20.00, which will include the meal and
gratuity. Please include payment for your runner and his guests along with the bottom portion of this letter by
the deadline to reserve your spots.
We hope all of you will be able to attend this wonderful season wrap-up. Whether you are able to attend, or
need to send your regrets, we ask everyone to return the bottom portion of this letter with your dinner
payment by October 24th so we can confirm the number of reservations needed.
Please make checks payable to Mimi Holesinger, you may send your payment in an envelope labeled XC
Banquet to Wanda in the Activities Office or mail them to Mimi Holesinger, 2448 Matthew John Drive,
