1. Introduction
1.1 Background
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has a countrywide presence with over 55 million wire line
and wireless telephone subscribers and offers a host of services like Data Communication, National
Long Distance, International Long Distance, Internet Leased line etc.

Bharat Fibre Mobile Application is implemented for FTTH personnel to provide one stop facility for
all the issues related to them with secure access to their information, which includes an interface for,
assigning tasks to themselves, completing the tasks assigned to them and updating the information
regarding the dockets to their superiors.

Bharat Fibre Mobile Application is necessary to provide access with better and easy-to-use User
Interface (UI) to the JTO/SDE to provide their services.

2. Authentication
2.1 Registration
Once the Employee Clicks on Register button, registration page appears and the employee (JTO/SDE)
has to enter the Employee ID and the zone he/she belongs to. For incorrect Employee ID or Zone an
error message saying “Incorrect Employee Id/Zone. Please Try again” is displayed.

Once he/she enters correct Employee ID and Zone, and clicks on Get OTP button a new OTP is
generated and message is sent to his/her registered mobile number.

The OTP will be expired in 120secs and submit button will be disabled. In this case he/she has to
click on Resend OTP button then a new OTP will be sent to his/her registered mobile number.
JTO/SDE has to enter the OTP and submit the form, then a screen appears where he/she can set the
password.

User has to follow the below password policies:


 Password Length should be between 6 and 15

 One Special Character, alphabet and number is mandatory


 Special characters include @#$%&*!
For Incorrect Password format an error message saying “New Password should be 6-15 Characters,
and must contain at least one alphabet, one number and a special character @#$%&*! is displayed
Employee Code will be used as user name to login into the FTTH Mobile Application.

2.2 Login process for Bharat Fibre Mobile Application Users

The users can login to Bharat Fibre Mobile Application with Username, Password and Zone

2.2.1 Login with password


Authenticated User can login by providing the details like Employee Id/User Id, Password and Zone.
An error message saying “Incorrect Username/Password/Zone” will be displayed if user enters
incorrect credentials. Otherwise, it will redirect to the homepage, where the data regarding that user
will be displayed.

2.2.2 Remember me

Whenever remember me option is checked, Credentials are auto saved.

2.2.3 Forgot Password

If the user forgets his/her password then he/she can click on the Forgot Password link. On clicking the
forgot password link, the user will be redirected to Forgot Password screen.

Once he/she enters correct Employee ID and Zone, and clicks on Get OTP button a new OTP is
generated and message is sent to his registered mobile number

2.3 Home Page :


After successful registration and login, the user will be redirected to the homepage which displays the
information of Employee such as Employeename, Last Sync Time and open dockets/orders button.

Also the details about Dockets/Orders which are in Assigned, InProgress, Franchise, Halted ,Closed
and Cancelled are shown in the home page.

On homepage there are following options available:

1. Search Service Order ID/Work Order ID/Phone No.


2. Get open Dockets/Orders list
3. Assigned
4. InProgress
5. Franchise
6. Halted
7. Closed
8. Cancelled
9. Sync

On the menu bar the following options are available

On clicking the “Sync” button available on the action bar, the user gets the updated data regarding
dockets/orders under Assigned, InProgress, Franchise, Halted, Closed and Cancelled status.
Also on clicking the “i” button which is on the action bar, the information of the last sync data will be
shown to the user. The format is Last Sync time – dd/mm/yy hh:mm AM/PM

2.3.1 Open Orders/Faults list:


Clicking on this Button, Employee can view all the open dockets/orders assigned to his/her
wrokgroup ID. He/She can select one of the order and view it and claim it to his/her own bucket. This
removes the claimed order from the open dockets/orders list and pushes that order into JTO/SDE's
assigned order list.

2.3.2 Search Service Order/Phone No/Work Order No


When user clicks on the “Telephone/Service Order/work Order” Search field, the user can find the
dockets/orders using service order Id or work order Id or telephone number by following the below
steps.
 User has to enter the first 3 digits of docket id (format: XXXX) and telephone number (format:
XXXX-).
 Then the list of docket service order/work order id's and telephone numbers starting with that 3
digits will be shown.
 The required docket service order/work order id/telephone number can be selected.
 On clicking the search icon, all the information regarding corresponding to that docket/order will
be displayed.
2.3.3 Order workflow
On clicking on any of the status button it redirects to Orders List Page showing all the orders
corresponding to the selected status with the below Four functionalities.
1. Provisioning
2. Disconnection
3. Modify
4. Fault

 The user can come back to the Home page by clicking the back button.
 The user has an option to click on the “?” icon present on the right side of the action bar. On
clicking the icon, the user gets Help Screen and he/she can close it by clicking on the “X” icon
which redirects back to the Order List page.
 On clicking the “i” button which is on the action bar, the information of the last sync data will be
shown to the user. The format is
Last Synch time – dd/mm/yy hh:mm AM/PM
 In this page the numbering beside Provisioning, Modify, Disconnection, Fault represents number
of dockets/Orders present under that category.
 In this page the Filter Option beside the numbering represents a dialog box with different service
type like BHARAT FIBRE_VOICE and BHARAT FIBRE_BB can be selected by the JTO/SDE
for more refined results.

Ageing Factor: It represents how long the docket are present under that category for that user. When
the user clicks on either Provisioning/Modify/Disconnection/Fault the dockets under each category are
displayed with the Ageing Factor.
 If the dockets are under the assigned status on the same or next day the numbering colour is
GREEN.

 If the dockets are under the assigned status for less than or equal to a week the numbering colour
is YELLOW.
 If the dockets are under the assigned status for more than a week the numbering colour is RED.

The dockets can be prioritized by the user by the labels such as

2.3.4 Order Details


When the user clicks on any Order Type, the user gets the list of Orders of corresponding Order type.
Then the user clicks on the required order which redirects the user to a page that displays the list of
the order details such as

SERVICE ORDER NUMBER SERVICE_TYPE

WORK ORDER NO ORDER TYPE


EMPLOYEE_CODE ORDER SUBTYPE

WORK GROUP ID BB_FAULT CODE(FOR FAULTS)

CUSTOMER NAME SUPERVISOR CODE

CUSTOMER MOBILE NO BOOKED DATE

TELEPHONE NO FAULT_CODE(FOR FAULTS)

ADDRESS ONT_AQUISITION_TYPE

Radio buttons to select the status either InProgress, Close or Halt. After entering the details user can
save it by clicking on the save button.

Provisioning and Fault Orders can also be moved to Franchise in addition to the above status.
Whereas Modify and Disconnection Orders cannot be moved to Franchise and Disconnection Orders
cannot be Halted.

If InProgress button is clicked mandatory fields are not required, and the order moves to InProgress
Screen.
All the details in the form are auto populated except Mandatory Fields.

Where Mandatory Fields includes Comments, Circuit Details, mandatory fields and Halt Reason.
User has an option to call by clicking on the call icon provided near the Customer Mobile No.
Along with the comments, mandatory fields are appended to the comments field and saved in the
Bharat Fibre Application Database.
2.4 Cancelled Orders:
 There is a chance that work order that an Employee is working upon gets cancelled from
Clarity.
 Then On Syncing the App,those orders will be removed from his/her assigned bucket to
Cancelled Bucket.Also a notification is sent to JTO/SDE via SMS.
 In the Cancelled bucket,he/she can just view the order and remove the list of cancelled oders
from the list using Remove/Remove All buttons.

2.5 Closed Orders/Faults:


Closed orders/faults can also be seen by clicking the CLOSED button on the Home screen. There
User can just view the orders/dockets closed by him/her along with the mandatory fields entered by
him while closing the order/fault.
2.6 Halted Orders/Faults:
Halted orders/faults can also be seen by clicking the HALTED button on the Home screen. There
User can just view the orders/dockets halted by him/her along with the halt reason and halt feedback
entered by him while halting the order/fault.
2.7 Franchisee Orders/Faults:
Franchisee orders/faults can also be seen by clicking the FRANCHISEE button on the Home screen.
There User can just view the orders/dockets assigned to franchisee by him/her along with the
mandatory fields entered by him while assigning the order/fault to franchisee.
2.8 Help
When clicked on the help button in any screen it is redirected to specific help screens for that order
type. For each and every screen we will see a help screen available so JTO/SDE can refer to that.

Here you can view the Complaint List Help, Open Order Help screens.
2.9 Change Password

On clicking the Change password, the user will be redirected to the Change Password Page displaying
a form.
The form contains Employee code, Old password, new password, Confirm password where the
employee id is auto populated and the user has to enter other details in the corresponding fields,
satisfying the mandatory conditions. After filling details the user clicks on the set password button
and he/she will be redirected to the home page.

Mandatory Conditions include:


 Old Password and New Password should not be same.
 New Password and Confirm Password should be same.
 User has to follow the below password policies:
▪ Password Length should be between 6 and 15
▪ One Special Character, alphabet and number is mandatory
▪ Special characters include @#$%&*!
▪ For Incorrect Password format an error message saying “New Password should be 6-15
Characters, and must contain at least one alphabet, one number and a special character
@#$%&*! is displayed.
2.10 Logout
When the user clicks on the logout he/she will be redirected to the login page (i.e. BSNL).
2.11 One User One Device
At a time, one user can be logged into one device only.
If the user logs into another device, the message as shown in screenshot will pop up

The former device will be logged out showing the below mentioned message.
