India is a very talented side with quality players such as Jasprit Bumrah,

Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni who are the best ODI bowler, best ODI batsman
and the best wicket keeper respectively. India also have a deadly spin
duo namely Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal they have been very
consistent for India and even though they had got a beating from the
English openers , they can still be A very dangerous combo during the
World Cup finals if India do beat New Zealand in the semifinal. India
also have very good all-rounders such as the big hitting Hardik Pandya
and Kedar Jadhav who is handy in situations where Indian bowlers are
getting hit. India is a very strong side and can win their third world cup.
After beating Australia with such a huge margin India might repeat
what they did in 1983 and 2011.
Australia have already won the World Cup five times will they win it
again or will they be stopped by England in the semis or either India or
New Zealand. Australia have quality batsman like Aaron Finch, David
Warner, Steve Smith and Usman Khawaja. They also have quality
bowlers such as Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and also veteran spinner
Nathan Lyon. Australia with the first team to confirm qualification into
the top four in the group stage of the world cup and ended up being
second on the points table, Just one point Less than India. they will face
arch-rivals England in the second semi-final on the 11th of July. Indians
are probably hoping that Australia will be stopped but they can
Completely Crush our hopes and lift the cup for the sixth time in their
history.
Hosts and tournaments favorites England just manage to qualify for the
semis by defeating India and by also winning the last game in the group
stages. England have very good batsman such as Joe Root, Eoin
Morgan, Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy. Their opening partnership of
Bairstow and Roy completely destroyed the Indian spinners in the
match against India. they also have very good all-rounders such as Ben
Stokes, Moeen Ali and very good bowlers like newcomer Jofra Archer
and the experience Adil Rashid. England have made it to four finals but
have never won will this be the first title.
New Zealand is led by a very talented player Kane Williamson. New
Zealand have very good bowlers such as Trent Bolt and Tim Southee
and have good batsman such as Martin Guptill and their captain Kane
Williamson himself they also have good all-rounders such as Colin De
Grandhomme and Mitchell Santner. Their fielding is exceptional. New
Zealand will try to win their first World Cup title. They have never
reached the finals of any world cup so this time they will try to get their
first title.
Bangladesh led by Mashrafe Mortaza are under dogs no more as they
have created many upsets in the past few years gone by wins against
England in the 2015 world cup. Bangladesh have the best all-rounder in
the world Shakib Al Hasan who scored more than 600 runs and has
picked up more than 10 wickets in this world cup, so he has a lot of
chance of being the man of the series. Bangladesh has a lot of quality
bowlers especially Rubel Hossain and Mostafizur Rahman and have very
good batsmen like Mushfiqur Rahim , Tamil Iqbal ,Soumya Sarkar and
Shakib Al Hasan himself. They have not qualified for the semi-finals, but
they have entertained all viewers and are now a force to reckon with.
Pakistan who are India's arch Rivals started the world cup campaign buy
a huge loss to West Indies. But they bounced back with victories over
New Zealand and England. But they finished fifth in the points Tally and
does where out of the world cup. Pakistan had an embarrassing loss to
the Indian team and are yet to win a world cup match against India.
Pakistan has very good batsman like ok Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam and
Imam Ul Haq. They also have experience players like Mohammad
Hafeez coma Shoaib Malik ok and the captain Sarfaraz Ahmed. Pakistan
team is very unpredictable they can win on their day but other days
they perform very badly.
The South African cricket team has very good players like Hashim Amla,
Faf Du Plesis, Kagiso Rabada, Quinton de Kock and Chris Morris. their
greatest all-time player A B de Villiers retired from cricket just before
the world cup this dealt a severe blow to their prospects in this world
cup South Africa also missed the services of Dale Steyn duty injury and
Morne Morkel who retired. South Africa had a disastrous World Cup
losing almost all their initial matches but ended the campaign with a
good victory over Australia. South Africa has been labelled as chokers
as they always fail in important tournaments, yet they are one of the
best teams in the world.
West Indies is a team of many countries from the Caribbean they play
very passionate cricket. West Indies team has big names in cricket
history. they have previously won the World Cup 2 times. The current
lot of players include Chris Gayle, Andre Russell Shai hope and Shimron
Hetmyer are very capable and fantastic players in in many cricket
leagues Around The World yet when they play as a team together they
mostly underperform. this world cup they started very well with a big
win against Pakistan but could not hold on to the momentum and went
on a losing spree. West Indies finished at the end of the table as second
last. we hope to see the West Indies team revive to the earlier glory.
Afghanistan is a young team with a lot of potential. the key players are
Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi. They also have very talented 18-
year-old Mujibur Rahman and Ekram Ali Khil. Afghanistan promised a
lot of good performances but could not cope up to the World Cup
pressure at the end of each match they ended losing all their matches.
but they had gone down fighting against many teams including India
and Pakistan. their play was noteworthy and heartening to see specially
when the country is seeing a warlike situation. For the sake of cricket,
we wish Afghanistan also comes up and starts meaning against the top
teams of the world.
Sri Lanka has a very good cricket team but of late they have not been
performing to their potential since the departure of the pillars of
Srilankan cricket Arvind D'silva, Kumar Sangakkara, Muttiah
Muralitharan and Chaminda Vaas, Sri Lanka has not been able to
achieve the same success it got when these great players were there.
Sri Lanka had a decent World Cup but two of their matches were
washed out. does they could not manage to qualify for the semifinals.
their captain Karunaratne and experienced Angela Mathew and Lasith
Malinga tried to take the team farther but the rest of the team did not
perform so well. ok Youngsters Avishka Fernando and Dhananjaya De
Silva where good finds for the team. hope the island country performs
to its potential next time.
