A. TEACHING CONTENTS:
 Vocabulary: kitchen, living room, dining room, bed room, bathroom,
garden , up stair , down stair , flat , house
 Sentences: 1. Where is Grandma ? She is in the kitchen.
2. Is she in the kitchen ? Yes, She is .
3. Where is Dad and Billy ? They ‘re in the kitchen .
4. Are they in the living room ? Yes, they are.
 Song: Put on your shoes
 Activity: Parts of the house : worksheet and craft
B. TEACHING AIDS:
 Flash cards
 Paper, adhesive tape, crayons, glue, scissors.

C. PROCEDURE:

PROCEDURE TIME CONTENT (GUIDANCE)


1. Warm up 10 mins Warm up song: put on your shoes
Mini game (optional): Simon says, Magic
beans…
2. Word teaching 15 mins  Using Flash card to teach the ten new
words , it’s better to choose a separate
body language for each guy so that it will
be easier for students to differentiate these
parts of the house
 Let students practice saying the words
several times. Pay attention to students’
pronunciation and help them to correct if
there’s any mistake.
3. Word games 15 mins
 Play some more action games to review
the learnt words, it’s better to choose easy
games than games that need intellectual
reflections. Baking, Passing Ball, Music
Chairs, Whisper Game can be good
choices.
4. Sentence teaching. 15 mins
 It’s important to let kids practice
meticulously and follow the right tempo
when saying the sentences. When asking
students to practice saying the sentences,
it’s useful to let them practice in pairs and
use the hand puppets to make the
conversation more authentic and
interesting.
 Change and double the difficulty by
asking students to answer with their real
names : Ngan , Billy , Tom instead of “
grandma, grandpa”
5. Sentence games 10 mins  The purpose is that students can
recognize the sentences and understand
the grammatical structure and they can
practice saying the sentences; know how
to answer the question properly.
Therefore, games can be easily chosen
such as Passing Ball or some typical word
games with changed requirements.
6. Foreign teacher 10 mins  Grape sheet : song Good morning
 Big book : One
 Story : what do you see ?
 Song : stand up , sit down
 Letter : M - monkey
7. Activity 10 mins  Practice song, big book and story
8. Wrap-up 5 mins  Using flashcards to review again about all
the contents of the lesson. Singing and
dancing as wrap-up activity.
