We trust that you will have a unique and rewarding experience, whilst making a valuable
contribution to the conservation of the area you are visiting.
You will find information about your expedition in the Guyana pages of our website
www.opwall.com.
Please be aware:
• Participants must have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the date of their return
from expedition.
• Participants must be in possession of suitable travel insurance that will cover any transport delays
or alternative ground and air travel arrangements if route schedules cannot be adhered to by the
transport suppliers.
Please do not leave the airport until you have located the representative.
Lost luggage
Ensure you get a receipt from the airport to say that your luggage has not arrived. Give the receipt
to the camp manager once you arrive on site. They will arrange for your luggage, once it has
arrived, to be picked up and brought out to site.
Visa
Up-to-date information on visas is on the Opwall website. It is your responsibility to ensure that
you meet the necessary visa requirements. On entry you should state that your visit is for tourist
purposes.
Passport
Make sure that you carry a photocopy of the personal details page of your passport in both your
hand luggage and your hold luggage. If you lose your passport, speak to the camp manager if you
are at the site or call the Opwall 24-hour number if you are travelling to or from the site.
Travelling independently
If you intend to travel before or after your expedition please advise us of this when you confirm
your internal travel.
We strongly recommend that you book all of your internal travel through Opwall as we cannot give
assistance should any problems arise with travel or accommodation booked independently.
