AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT is made between ________________hereinafter referred to as the

Main Contractor
AND
_________________, __ yrs of age, son of _________________, Address:
_______________________________________________________.
 Both above mentioned persons hereinafter referred to as the Labour Contractor

WHEREAS the Main Contractor is executing

______________ hereinafter referred to as the 'said work'.

NOW IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED BETWEEN THE PARTIES AS UNDER:

I. Labour Contractor will supply following types of labour to carry out activities mentioned
under this agreement:

a) Centering/Shuttering work
b) Steel-bending/fabrication work
c) Concreting work
d) Masonary and Plaster work

II. Compensation for work, Payment Terms and Conditions:

1. Compensation for work - Labour Contracter shall be paid as per following mentioned
rates:

2. Payment terms and conditions:

a) A deduction of 20% will be made as retention amount from every phase-vise payment
and previous retention amount will be paid back in next phase payment.
b) Concreting work - payment will be made weekly for the work done only. Retention will be
at 15% of accrued payment and final payment will be made.

II. It is the duty of Labour Contracter or his representatives to report no. of labours with their
names and ID proofs every day before starting the work. Site supervisor will take a daily and
weekly roll call report of labours and submit it to Site Engineer which is mandatory and failing
to submit reports will attract debit charges, maximum debit charges at the descrition.

III. It is the duty of Labour Contracter or his representatives to take care of each and every
material issued to Labour Contractor for site work and has to be returned to the Site-
Supervisor which will be noted in daily material sheets. Nobody will be entertained for any
excuses in any case of loss or theft.

IV. If any material supplied by the Main Contractor is in way mis-used or not taken proper care
of or in case of theft, a sum of thrice the cost of that material will be charged from Labour
Contractor’s payment.
V. If the contractors fail to supply necessary labour on a requisition made by the Main
Contractor in time, they will be liable to pay a sum of twice the daily wages of deficit workers,
as liquidated damages per labour, mason, water carrier or any other worker not supplied by
them in accordance with the requisition by the Main Contractor.

VI. It is also agreed that the works mentioned in the contract is to be completed before
