RESOLUTION NO. 063

Series of 2016
A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING COUNCILOR JOHN PAUL M. BALMORES AS ONE OF
THE MEMBERS OF THE PEOPLE’S LAW ENFORCEMENT BOARD (PLEB)

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 6975, the People’s Law Enforcement
Board (PLEB) shall be composed of the following:

a. Any member of the Sangguniang Panglunsod/Bayan chosen by his respective Sanggunian;

b. Any Barangay Captain of the City or Municipality concerned chosen by the Association of
Barangay Captains; and

c. Three (3) other members who shall be chosen by the Peace and Order Council from among
the respected members of the community known for their probity and integrity, one (1) of
whom must be a member of the bar or in the absence of such, a college graduate, or the
principal of the Central Elementary School in the locality.

WHEREAS, one of the members of this Sanggunian, Coun. John Paul M. Balmores, is a person
of probity and integrity and a member of the bar;

NOW THEREFORE, upon unanimous motion presented, it was:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to recommend Coun. John Paul M. Balmores to the

Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC)as one of the members of this Municipality’s PLEB.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish a copy of to this Resolution to the members of the MPOC for
their information and appropriate action.
