Standard Operation Procedure for First Aid

First Person on site

 Assess the situation quickly- Check for danger

 Identify nature of injury or illness

 Arrange for assistance and/or emergency service to attend

 Stay with the casualty and assist the casualty to the best of their ability
until hand over to a First aid Officer or Health Care Professional

 Give Further assistance if necessary

Hand over to First aid Officer or Health Care Professional

 Send the casualty to the room treatment

 First Aid officer will Assess the situation and management plan is decided based on severity
and nature of illness/injury

 See Appendix 1 for list of cases that is manageable on site or untreatable on site

 Hospital transfer for cases that needed immediate attention

Manageable on Site Require Immediate Attention
Allergy (Minor) Asthma unresponsive to
treatment/unstable
Heat Exhausation Unstable Allergic reaction
Hypoglycemia Snake bite
Dehydration Heat Stroke
Chest pain/sob Falls/Fracture
Insect bite Any cases that has unstable vitals
Bee sting Prolonged Fever
Sprain Severe Food Poisoning
Cramps Psychiatric
Fainting
Fever
Asthma
Abdominal pain
Vomiting/ Diarrhea
